It is a weird rule but if the league likes it, cool. It just needs to include payment for the next season. You can't have trades where 1 of the units can basically walk away from it mid trade after they have already received the benefit. It's like buying something without ever paying for it. If you get a future draft pick out of a trade, you must pay the buy-in for the following season. Which in a league that has been around 22 years. is very fair. The league is clearly reliable.I just read it is a redraft.
Honestly, seems like a weird rule absent some pay-ahead requirement like it mentioned above.
