league problem-maybe my problem (1 Viewer)

guy had to drop C. Wentz because of buy week issues.  Note:  Myfantasyleagues is our provider.  two teams put in bids(12 team)-this is the 2nd blind bidding for the week-ends Friday night.  I have the highest bid, but don't get him.  Apparently some glitch in the system whereas a Team picked up Wentz for 0 dollars after the fact.

I am really pissed.  Talk me out of it.  please.

When I bid on mfl and don't get a player the bid still shows up under transactions. Screen shot it, send it to commish. Seems like an easy fix

Commish needs to check the blind bid settings.  Commish can also view the transaction log as MFL usually has error messages that explain why an error occurred.  If it's not clear, i'd send a question to mfl support - they are very resposive in my experience - usually no later than 24 hours for an answer and often much sooner.

In MFL, Reports/Franchise/Previously Processed Waivers should show a report of the entire waiver session, with all bids and the reason each was not granted. Formatting here probably sucks, but here' s part of my league's log from Wednesday:

I believe that report is only available to commissioners, and only available to commissioners who have not appropriately turned off the function under Reports/Rules - abilities

"Commissioner Lockout:Yes, the commissioner has given up his ability to view pending owner-initiated transactions."

If the Commissioner Lockout is not "Yes", then the commissioner can see FAA waiver plays (without bid prices) before waivers process. And only the commissioner can see the bid prices that failed. It gives a commissioner who is also a team owner an unfair advantage (albeit which may not be taken advantage of), but it is my opinion that any commissioner who is also an owner hand has not turned off his access to pending transactions is either naive to the function, or if he is not naive to it, he is a frank cheater.

It's a setting under "abilities." My leagues are all set so that anyone can view the report after the waivers process. I think it makes everything transparent and owners in my leagues really like seeing it (except of course when they see that they way overbid for a player).

Yep, this.
