I was listening to puck soup and they were ranking their most and least favorite zoo animals.

Hippos, monkeys and giraffes were the clear favorites

Least favorite - Snakes, butterflies and spiders

What say you?

Least - probably the reptiles, just kinda boring

Spiders / snakes clearly the worst.

My hot take is that giant pandas are kind of overrated.

Favorite is red panda or meerkat.

fave are seals - they have even more fun than monkeys. i accidently got to swim with some a long time ago in Mexico and been fascinated by em ever since. and every time i see a tiger live i become quickly overwhelmed by the fractal miracle of their coloration

camels are handsdown the worst. me ol' Da invented the growlight so he made lots of speeches at the NY Botanical Gardens, adjacent to the Bronx Zoo. when i was little he'd drag us all down with him for his important orations, so i'd be overdressed, li'lboywise, to represent fam @ NYBG, then hafta look like a nancyboy tourist at the Zoo. the capper was always having to ride the nasty, crustful, stinky camels for a photo.

Wombats for the win. Unlike most of you, they poop square.

Favs:  the Big Cats. Tigers, Leopards, Cheetahs, Jaguars, Lions.  They are just very cool.
 

Least favs: Savannah type Antelope animals.  They aren’t bad, just not as cool as the big cats.

As your favorite? If so, that's what I was gonna say.  I like that you can see them either underwater or on ground.  

Least favorite, probably snakes.  They just lay there for the most part.  Meh.

Favorite would be otters and sea lions when they are active.  Very entertaining.  Polar bears are great also.

Least favorite would probably be elephants and rhinos.  I appreciate their size in person, but I've never seen them do much more than stand in one place.

The big cats are awesome, but it's kind of depressing watching them pace back and forth in a small area.
