Lee Evans has been abysmal so far during the start of the 2010 season with a pretty mediocre showing against Miami with 4 catches for 34 yards and a goose egg against the Packers (on one measly target).
The QB has changed for Buffalo and now Evans is facing the generous Patriots pass defense that has given up 565 passing yards and 5 TDs to two offenses that looked pretty anemic against a Baltimore team playing without their top corner and safety. Evans' numbers improved when Ryan Fitzpatrick took over last season and he scored all but 1 of his 7 TDs with Fitzpatrick as the QB.
Buffalo is probably going to get creamed in this game, but I think Evans can have a surprisingly solid fantasy day approaching top 20 numbers. Depending on your other options I think he's a solid flex play and borderline WR2 with upside if he can catch a deep ball.
Is anyone starting him with confidence?

But yeah, I get your point. It's hard to be confident in a guy coming off a game with zero catches and one target. I just think there are factors tilting in Lee Evans favor this week.

I understand the jokes from everyone in here, but sometimes you have to think outside the box and look at why someone like Lee Evans has struggled so far. Miami and Green Bay's defenses both look pretty stout. Evans was covered by Charles Woodson with safety help and had a QB that isn't willing to take a shot down the field.
