Leonard Fournette tweets he won $ betting football (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure that particular document is relevant. It is applicable to Employees of the NFL and related companies as defined on page 1 which does not appear to include the teams.  I assume Fournette is employed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.  I would think any gambling restrictions for players would be in the CBA.
incorrect

For anyone who thinks this is no big deal:

Please see Section K bullet point 3 found on pages 16 and 17
That bullet point is broadly written enough to include fantasy sports participation and many NFL players openly participate in Fantasy Football...

I've addressed both of those points in prior postings. Players can do fantasy as long as it doesnt include payouts of larger than 250

The NFLs gambling policy is linked above  your post

Are you in agreement it’s a non factor for this season if it is punished or investigated ?

How come I haven't seen a sleeperbot alert or any other media on this?  Non-issue or fake news?  Probably gonna keep Yeldon regardless.

It’s absolutley genuine and one of the tweets was taken down all ready.  Also it’s pretty clear he had a bet with this rapper.  That being said I’m stunned it’s not being picked up which makes me comfortable this may be a non issue. I draft tonight so sure hope so

Has anyone posted an article about this even being a blip on the radar? Seems like FBG’s trying to make a deal about a non story.

I haven't. Thread seems irresponsible with drafts happening. I mean, I saw the post, but who knows what it was about. The guy was just made a captain of the Jags. Would be nice to have some real corroboration that this is an issue instead of conjecture.

This is a major issue... if the media decides to go nuts about it.

It's a total non issue if the media ignores it.

If there is a video out there of him participating in gambling that the media can cite 7 million times -- big trouble :)

Sure looks like a deny, deny, deny situation to me. Even if he did bet it’s not like he couldn’t flash that much money as a troll.
