Let's Play Buy Or Sell (1 Viewer)

Buy if everything stays the same, bad run blocking O-line bad runningbacks, and health of course, I see no reason that Bodin and Fitz don't have 100+ catches.  Boldin has proven that when he is playing he his great and Fitz will continue to be on the rise.
Wow. I'll sell all day on this one. Having a 100 catch season is pretty rare for a WR, even tougher to do it in consecutive years. That being said I'd like to see the amount of times two WR's from the same team have had back to back 100+ catch seasons...has it ever happened? Here's one: Does Andre Johnson score 7 TD's or more in 2006?

Great thread by the way
I am buying because there is no reason to think that they wouldn't have 100 catches again because there is no offence anywhere else on that team. The are both great players, where I agree that it is not easy if it ever were to happen I think these are the guys and that is the place.

Buy A.Johnson

Buy K.Colbert 50+

How bout Brees to the dolphins plus them winning the afc east.
Sell on the Carolina WR/TE question. Colbert had 47 catches in 2004, but Colbert and Carter will share time, and Proehl is back. They may bring in another WR to compete for time. Delhomme has locked onto his #1 each of the last two years (Muhammad and then Smith), and I don't see 50 catches going to any one secondary receiver.Dolphins winning AFC East? Well, they have a better chance at that than of winning any other division. :P Seriously though, they are putting together a good team but with a new QB and competing in the same division with Belichickand Brady, that would be an upset. I'll say sell.

Buy or sell: brobe4 is going to get around to answering my trade question in MOX I from yesterday before he goes on posting here some more. :hot:  :D

Hey fcp i did not receive a email just had my boy check.
After you replied "(It would) Take a little more to get xxxxxxx" I asked "Ummmm... any thoughts as to who you'd want?" That's all.(Sorry to be talking personal business here, everyone, but I'm lazy)

Last buy or sell for me tonight: JP Losman will get it together in the next year or two and become a decent starting QB in the NFL.

Buy or sell, 2 parter

1. TJ Duckett gets traded from Atlanta this year

2. Duckett becomes a good starting RB (regardless of your answer to #1)

Buy because you said decent. I assume decent = average.
Right, as opposed to sucking badly, losing out to Holcomb, and being a career backup. Decent would be a big accomplishment given what we've seen so far.

1. Tough one. I've done a lot of reading since the rumor arose and still can't get a good feel for what will happen. His drop off in the 2nd half of the year in terms of ypc is worrisome; he seemed very slow for whatever reason. If he is traded, it means Atl has given up on him at the age of 25, which leads to my answer to question #2. I'll say sell because they will find he has little trade value and will opt to keep rather than give him away, keeping him in his short yardage role.2. Sell. He has several things going against him. First, he's a very big guy (250+) and not many RBs that big have made it as a feature back. Some, but it's unusual. His 3.1 ypc in 2005 is worrisome. His playing time has decreased since he was a first round pick rather than increased (11 carries/game in 2002, 12 c/g in 2003, 8 c/g in 2004, 9 c/g in 2005). And, he's not a good pass catcher at all. He is a powerful short yardage back, but IMO will never be more. I have him in a dynasty league and hope I'm wrong, but I don't think it'll happen for TJ.

Buy or Sell... TO will be a Bronco in 2006.
Sell. It's just not a good year. A year or two ago, it would have worked perfectly, because Lelie would still be developing. A year or two from now, it would have worked perfectly, because Smith would be on his way out. This year... I just don't think it makes as much sense. But that's just me.
Buy or sell - somehow, somewhere, Mike Anderson will rush for 1,000 yards this season.
I'm... selling, actually. Shocking, since everyone seems to think I'm related to him. I think he'd be CAPABLE of rushing for 1,000 again... but I don't think he has much chance of winding up somewhere where he'll have the opportunity.
Buy or sell. Kubiak will revive the Texans and they will win 7+ games in 2006. You buying that?
Hold. If Kubiak gets Houston at least 3 quality O-linemen this year, buy. If he only manages to grab 1 or 2, then sell, but I'll be buying next year.
Buy or Sell: Jamal Lewis ends up in Denver?
I'll sell all day on that one. Denver's too high on Dayne, Lewis is too expensive and too done, and the Broncos will almost certainly add at least one more RB to the mix in the draft.Buy or Sell: Ron Dayne, 1000 yard rusher?

Cool thread guys! Here's one: Ronnie Brown will be Top 10 FF RB in 2006 for the fish with Ricky out of the way on league suspension? You Buying or Selling on that one?

Selling. Too many variables - Ricky could play, Brown could have a good season but finish 11th, he could miss some games...

Buy- Ramsey as the starter in NY.

Buy- Brad Johnson as a decent starter next year on a 5-11 Minny team

Sell- Benson leading the Bears in rushing unless TJ gets hurt

Buy- Mike Anderson rushing for 1,000 yards unless he goes to the Eagles and becomes this years Lamar Gordon

Sell TO in Denver. Buy TO in Dallas

Buy Texans with 7+ wins THIS season

Sell Matt Jones being a fantasy star in place of Jimmy Smith. He isn't ready.

Buy Droughns being way undervalued

Buy the Colts being done in terms of a SB, they blew it last year. They would have destroyed Seattle.

Buy Edge in Jacksonville

Buy Jamal Lewis in Denver

Buy Jamal Lewis with 1500 yards in Denver

Buy Browns 8-8 this season, 10-6 next season, super bowl contender 2008

Sell- Benson leading the Bears in rushing because TJ gets hurt..we're not talking about TJ if Benson DIDN'T hold out last year, it would've been Benson's job.. will be in 2006.

Buy the Colts being done in terms of a SB, they blew it last year. They would have destroyed Seattle. :goodposting: Manning doesn't have it between the ears (mental toughness), and this will bother him for the rest of his career..he's soft, never won a championship on ANY level

I'm also selling, and not because of any variables, because of something that (as far as I know) has been pretty consistant... the O-line. Consistantly mediocre. Not as horrible as they once were, but the top 10 is usually filled with phenominal talents behind average O-lines, good talents behind good O-lines, and average talents behind phenominal O-lines. Not good talents behind below-average O-lines.
