Lewis owners (1 Viewer)

OK, I wasn't expecting too much from this game but I was thinking about 70 yards. Got less than half that. I have him on two teams, and am now wondering what to do with him. He's a RB3 on both teams and doesn't need to start, but I am actually wondering if he might be a better drop than LenDale for either Lamont Jordan or Chris Brown or Derrick Ward. I didn't watch the game so I would be interested to hear whether he looked decent and the team just looked bad, or if his running was part of the problem. He looked good in preseason so I'm wondering if I'm just overreacting to one bad game against a tough D, or if there are major concerns for the entire offense in Cleveland.

Don't do anything. He was playing against one of the better rushing Ds in a game where the Browns got behind very early and had to completely abandon the running game. I'm not sure what he'll do the rest of the season, but I certainly wouldn't make any judgments based on yesterday's game.

If you drafted Lewis, then he is going to be your RB3 at best. You had to draft him knowing that there were at least 4 games where he would be unstartable (Pitt and Balt x2) and likely 1 other (NE on the road). Things will get much better for him when he plays teams like Cinci, Oak, Hou, ext. The final 5 games of his fantasy schedule all look like very nice match-ups. If anything, Lewis will be a buy low prospect after week 11 IMO. I don't see any reason to be jumping off a cliff with Lewis. He is what he is. A starting RB on a bad team. When he faces dominant Ds and teams, he will likely struggle. Play the matchups.

The guy is now a 235 # sissy on a really bad team. He couldn't get it done in Balt. anymore and he will be lucky to finish the season with a 3.0 ypc. He may finish the season on the bench. He blows.

Jamal Lewis is an old slow RB.

I would drop him immediately for Chris Brown,

especially since you already have FatDale on your roster.

He got just over 3 yards per carry (3.2). did people expect that to improve moving from Baltimore to Cleveland?

Hopefully for Lewis owners he gets more carries in other games, but the Browns don't look to be ahead much this year. He'll rumble in for the occasional TD as well.

Yesterday iwas who he is. A bumbling, slow 3ypc back on a below average team.

He's been toast for 3 years now and you shouldn't have drafted him on your team in the first place. This guy is an injury replacement, bye week, last ditch gamble that you will only want to play with the most favorable matchup. This may be the case of the least productive 300 carry RB in the history of the NFL, beating out Troy Hambrick '03 by a narrow margin.
