This sucks for fans of these teams.

The 30 other teams allow their fans to watch and interact with the players at training camp but these 2 teams seem to think they are EXCLUSIVE organizations who do not need to see the "diehard fans."

The dolphins have really scaled back their open TC schedule as well. I think it is a trend. Since you cannot charge for it, you don't give it away seems to be the new motto of the NFL

While most of the Raiders training camps are "technically" closed to the public (they usually have two open practices at the Napa HS Stadium), if you are familiar with the area where they practice, you can actually see quite a bit. The Raiders actually train at a Middle School soccer field that is adjacent to the back parking lot of the Marriot Hotel where they stay. Its kind of an unusual setup. I figure Al Davis likes it because its pretty secluded, not many people know where it is. Of coarse the Marriot is visible from the Highway, but the field is well guarded by security, with black tarps surrounding the field. But if you find the residential neighborhood where the school is located you can walk right up to the back side of the field where the players workout, and practice and watch for quite awhile without anyone bothering you.
