Lions trade down (1 Viewer)

I think Russell will land with Raiders for sure.

With Calvin proving everyday he is a beast, would the Lions be inclined to deal their number two pick to drop down and still land a quality DE or drafted player?

If Calvin's stock continues to rise, that second pick could become very valuable and someone may pay the king's ransom to get it -even if it means Tampa moving up from the 4 spot to get it.

maybe, but only if Tampa believes Detroit or Cleveland would take CJ. Or if Cleveland would trade down and allow someone else to take CJ.

TB should be concerned that the Redskins will trade with the Browns to grab CJ. To me that trade is a no-brainer for both teams since the Browns will still get Peterson at #6.

Won't happen for two reasons: 1) the area of need for the 'Skins is overwhelmingly on defense, and 2) they have no other first day picks to trade except for their 1.06. It just won't work.

Nothing Snyder does surprises me. This is the guy after all that gave up two #1's for Campbell.

You mean the franchise QB who they desperately needed and who is looking like a pretty damn good pick right now? That guy? This is a totally different situation. Anyway, get your facts straight - it wasn't Snyder, it was Gibbs who made that move.
