Little Melvin can't be exposed to peanuts (2 Viewers)

How did we so quickly get away from my request to MrsB for :pics: ?
Are you crazy? After seeing Mrs. D's pic you want me to post mine? I'm not stupid you know. :(
Mr and Mrs. BSR have a beautiful picture from when they were married in BSR's profile. Mrs. B is a beautiful woman and for the time being I think we need to leave it at that.
Yes, thanks. That's the pic I remember thinking, "Boy, BSR is out of his league."

Mrs. BSR> hi. I knew I came back here for a reason. Thanks.

I need to say hi to mojorizin since it seems he's being ignored today. Poor thing.
He's probably just plotting his grand re-taking of e-mom from the others in this thread. Schlzm

Also glad to see you appear to be in a better mood today.

Did any of these guys sleep last night after seeing pics of Mrs. D? My guess is, no.
'Sup Mrs. B -- fellin' a bit more chipper today? You missed quite a shin-dig last night. It was like a feeding frenzy when the late night crew got a hold of Mrs. D's pics.

Kitty got your tongue?
Was having a little Chemistry, errr, I was in Chemistry class this morning.
Still going well?
Yes, I got an A on my exam last week but the stuff I'm learning now is a little hard to swallow. Need to keep pounding the books until I get it right.
You missed quite the chemistry experiment last night when Mrs. D was holdin' court.

So maybe time for an update on the original subjects, not that I wish to detract from the way this thread has evolved.Last thursday my daughter, Autumn Rose, got to be special helper in preschool. That means she got to bring the snacks and pass them out during snack time, an 'honor' she looked forward to for days. We carefully selected some prepackaged snacks after clearly examining the labels and submitted them to the school the day before for review. Everthing was a go for thursday when Melvin had a reaction just prior to snack time. The teachers administered an 'epi pen' and called paramedics. There was no explanation, nor rhyme nor reason as to why he had the reaction because he had consumed nothing nor yet had any physical interaction with the other children. Autumn was very disappointed that she did not get to give him his snack, but she did make Melvin a get well card that night which she insisted we deliver at once- it was a good thing we had his address in the school directory that came out just that day.On Friday they had a bookfare. This featured Clifford, the Big Red Dog, as the guest of honor. Also, the children were encouraged to come in their pajamas. Autumn got several hugs from 'Clifford', actually one of the teachers in a rather ratty mascot outfit, but Autumn was pleased nonetheless. I got several pictures.Melvin was there with his Mom who carried him throughout the night apparently being concerned least he interact with so many people. She had to have arms of steal because she held that approx. 40lb. child for over an hour without relief. She was quite nice stopping over to thank Autumn Rose for the card. The highlight of the evening for me was when I went up to pay for our book selections. We had several I had never heard of before, selected primarily because my daughter liked the cover art. Three of the books featured animals, one was an interpretation of the story of Noah- a story that continues to fascinate her as she just does not see how that many animals could be gotten on one boat, and finally, my selection, a compendium of Curious Georg stories. The lady checking out the books commented on what lovely choices all were except when she got to Curious George. She actualy asked if I wanted my child to be reading stories where a single man has such a close attachment to a monkey. I could not tell if this was a joke or a serious concern. I took it as a joke and said it doesn't seem to have hurt Micheal Jackson any. At that point she handed me my purchases and said "Indeed". "Well it is your daughter I suppose."

Did you wear your Catholic school girl outfit?
Last year to a Halloween party. I went with a friend of mine and her hubby. He dressed as a pimp and she was his hooker.
:pics: Pigtails? :bag:
hehe I tried but it wasn't exactly doing it for me. ;)

Glad your daughter was able to at least ive Melvin a card if not the snack she was looking forward. As for the lady complaining about the Curious George books, some people just go out of their way to find problems where none exist. While she may have an issue with a man and his monkey, it is probably because she is digging into it much more than a child will do for many years.Schlzm

Perhaps if George were not so curious it would not have disturbed her so. I'm just glad Mrs. DW got there before I made a joke about bi-curious George.

DW, your daughter has a beautiful name! You and Mrs. DW must be proud of your daughter...Autumn wanting to make Melvin a card is very nice. :thumbup:btw, did you by chance remind that woman giving you grief about Curious George that there are oodles of nursery rhymes that are completely disturbing when you analyze them...for example, hansel and gretel, red riding hood, three little pigs...just to name a few.
