It's awful man. Nothing worse than a team that can't score and is struggling. It feels like the net is 3 feet wide. Its probably a good thing that Liverpool did not have to play a lot of mid-week games this season.
And, now they have two more games in the next 6 days![]()

I expect a whole lot of kids in the FA cup this weekend.
Calculated risk by Klopp and FSG to go with a smaller sized roster this season. Might bite them.the congestion, on top of the AFCON certainly came at a difficult period.
Liverpool now have to put a lot of faith in youth players to keep the FA Cup hopes alive, while facing a difficult Chelsea squad early next week. I am guessing they secretly assumed they would have beaten Soton today, and could have made for a successful season by making a Cup Final.
Now they will be under a lot of pressure to keep a top-4 spot to salvage the season. They could, of course, still beat Wolves with the utes, and open up a FA Cup run.
If they finish out of the top-4, then I think Klopp will be under a lot of pressure to deliver something next season, and any blip could be costly.

Fortunately the fixture congestion is almost over. Klopp got rid of a ton of dead weight this past off-season, and he didn't "back-fill" those spots. He's not one for wasting money, and to be honest, there wasn't a lot of game time. So while Chelsea brings in Willian and Fabregas off the bench, we are bringing in Ben Woodburn and Ejaria. Its probably a good thing that Liverpool did not have to play a lot of mid-week games this season.

Wat?Klopp: "Losing 3 home games feels less than average. But losing in 3 competitions is better than losing 3 in just one."
This run isn't as bad as a LLL in the leagueWat?
Just waiting for him to be crucified....I'm picturing Kloppo singing the Monte Python classic, "Always look on the bright side of life ... "
How do you lose 3 times in the league or FA cup? Just a weird comment. The Gator said:This run isn't as bad as a LLL in the league
they're out of the cups, not a bad thing with a shallow squad. bummer the way they've played, but the FOCUS ON THE LEAGUE WILL BE STRONG #MANE
Yeah, it's a clunky comment. How do you lose 3 times in the league or FA cup? Just a weird comment.
In context, I agree with him, If you have to lose 3 in a row, it's good that only one is a league game. Because whether the players or Klopp care about the domestic cups or not, I know that I sure as hell don't.Wat?
that's the wrong attitude to have, cups always matter when either Liverpool or ManU are losing in themIn context, I agree with him, If you have to lose 3 in a row, it's good that only one is a league game. Arsenal and Tottenham dropping points to bad teams was really big for Liverpool. The fixture congestion is ALMOST OVER.Well, on the bright side. January is over.
3 transfer windows down, Klopp still starting 9 Brendan players from an average team.
One of the thing many LFC fans hoped for when he came was that he could attract elite talent. That isn't happening and I think this squad has been figured out.
