I don't know if someone has posted this at this point so if I am stealing an idea I apologize....

Ron, you really need to take this entire thread - add to it the stories you haven't told us - and put in screenplay form and try to sell it to Showtime or HBO. The successful businessman who loves his daughter but lives a lifestyle that gets in the way of true human companionship that isn't just sex. The ups and downs of an open lifestyle. The obvious sex scenes for cable. The responses of the FFA regulars here would the equivilent of your character hanging out with the guys or talking to your shrink.

It would be a better show than Togetherness, that's for sure.

This is Californication, but with a successful businessman instead of a writer.

One of my greatest regrets. Paying for it at the washy-washy isn't the same.

Ice and I hit the gym together after dinner for some cardio. We were both exhausted when we got back to my place; I put on my "after workout mix" on the bluetooth system in my bedroom which is mostly a Lou Reed, Dire Straits, Neil Young and Pink Floyd kinda vibe - great 'cool down' and chill music. We got into the shower together, Ice and I were sitting down just letting the water run over us - the shower has a double overhead and bench along the wall so it's easy to have a few people in the shower together without one person blocking the water.

I pick up the scrub brush and begin to wash her feet while Ice is singing along softly to the music. We finish showering and dry off; she lays down on the bed and I lay next to her; I turned the music down a bit so it's just subtle background noise - she's just looking at me and smiling, then says,

Ice: Ronnie, I love you

Me: I love you too

Ice: I really mean that. I've never cared about another guy the way I care about you. You're a really good person.

Me: Thank you (struggling for a comeback)

Ice: (she interrupts my awkward silence), You're open and honest with everyone. You tell the truth even when you really shouldn't. Most guys are gross, penis happy, liars (first time I heard the term "penis happy"). I hated you so much when I first met you - I thought you were a jerk but you proved me wrong every time. You're one of my best friends and I love you.

She kisses me then says she needs to get some rest; tomorrow (Thursday) is her last day of training and there's a test on Friday. It's for a certification that's really important for her work and she's really nervous about it. I laid on my back, Ice then put her head on my chest and one leg on mine and snuggled in.

I laid there with Ice thinking about her; I really do care for this girl but she's such a basket case. It would be nice to finally date a woman with her own money but again, crazy person.

I closed my eyes trying to blank out anymore thoughts to fall asleep and the last thing I heard in the background was, "hey girl, take a walk on the wild side".

I hope I'm wrong, but she's definitely going to kill you imo.

I thought the next post directly about Ron would have been from his doctor telling us that, later that night, Ice cut off his unit with a pair of sicissors and then put it in a pair of Bruno Magli shoes. A black one, of course.

Yes, he still does the black slang shtick. His girlfriend hates it, she'll literately walk away rolling her eyes when he does it.

Think Jesse from Breaking Bad but worse. He's still a really selfless-solid dude though. He's the kind of guy I could call at any time to move furniture or break someone's legs, he wouldn't think twice.
