Loaning a chick money 9/9/16 - Bye (1 Viewer)

I really think a lot of Lance's issue is his wifey doesn't like me and now that she has a kid on the way, wants to cut me off as Lance's friend (for obvious reasons). Maybe Lance is making a last ditch effort to keep me as a friend by convincing me to settle down.

Ain't going to happen.

Pretty obvious Lance is jealous here and wants Ron to himself. I bet he'd even settle for some Ron juice belly rubbing with Michael at this point. He got it bad.

So he wants to change who you are. Tell him that's what women do to men and to knock it off or check his d**k at the door the next time he comes to one of your parties.

everything, the game, embedded in your brain

I stopped to meet up with Lance for a drink around 4pm earlier this week; the plan was "one drink" - we were pretty warmed up 2 hours later and got into this conversation:

Lance brought up a point (albeit for a soon-to-be married w/child already on the way sucker) - he says I need to start aiming for higher prizes.

I said, "why? I have no plans on having more kids or getting married again, what's the point? If the mid-20s are throwing #####, why not?"

"Ron", Lance goes on, "It's simple my nig (reminder, Lance is white btw), because you can...or maybe you can't if your game isn't what you think it is".

I said in my best Ghostface Kilah voice, "Hold on let me park my ####"...

loosely related reference to explain my last statement - aside: [source reference], as annoying as Lance can be, he's really one of the few people in my circle that gets the obscure rap lyric references I make sometimes.

He replies, "Haha you vexed #####" (out of sequence from the song but again his response acknowledges the reference and matches character).

Lance: "Seriously dude, you realize most of the chicks you're bagging see you as a come-up, right?

Me: Bro, it's not like I'm peeling off stacks for these hoes

Lance:

Me: That was once but it's not like (he interrupts me)

Lance: You always pay. Always. ALWAYS!!!

Me: Damn can't every dude say that??? (I've very loud at this point :oldunsure: )

Lance: You my nig but you pay...you pay hard my G  . (He says this very convincingly, very slow, and loud, while pounding one hand into the other with each syllable)

Me: Dog, you know about [i started referencing a few chicks I've bagged lately, over 30 w/good jobs].

Lance: But look at them all...they all wanted you for something. A connection, a job, a hook up, a something - not for you B.

(aside - when I get drunk with Lance, I get pulled into my old NY/NJ slang sometimes. This was one of those times...embarrassing)

Me: (we still loud, it would easily seem like we were arguing pre-fight to an onlooker from afar). "That's every ##### B (lots of hand motions going on now), how many chicks f### with a dude that ain't got #### to offer??? :hot: You know what? (I'm pointing at him) You're really sounding like your chick got in your head bro; I know she doesn't like that we kick it. Look, let's drop this because we're only going to keep yelling and drinking but I gotta roll. We decompressed, finished drinks then left (he insisted we hug it out in the parking lot - we were pretty tuned up at this point).

I let it go, thought about it again today.

Any thoughts here?
do you ever use the term 'fam'?

You live a life of consumption. I recall the fox episode. There are many people that can live a life of consumption and be fine. I would argue that we are built with the need to not just mate, but have a mate, a stable yang to our yin. The drive for physical pleasure amps the bloodflow to the brain for that companionship, but the companionship is what we crave or else at some level the physical pleasure of masturbation would be paramount in lieu of dealing with the crazy and sharing your stuff, and dealing with other people.

Is Lance right? Yes. And no. You need to be true to yourself more than anything else in this world. If you find comfort and peace in your life, then who cares what others think. But given your many references to your daughter here I'm pretty confident that on some level this isn't the level or type of happiness you want ultimately. It's fun, you have a weakness and an ability to feed that weakness rather easily but that fun will run out eventually at some point. The failure that many people suffer though is that they settle for something that they think will fill a void or make them happy instead of being true to themselves. You had a kindred spirit for a time in your wife but the lifestyle isn't one that leads to long term stable relationships that are at the core of who we are and want to be.

Or this could all be psychobabble. You get laid consistently, have a good job and are comfortable in your own skin. Who cares what he thinks? It's just that, you wouldn't ask if the question wasn't bugging you, now would you?

**** Lance. 5 years isn't even that long for a friend. Do you have any longtime friends? Are they trying to tell you how to live your life?

I find it ironic a white guy calling you ##### is giving you advice about other people disrespecting you.
I think you missed where Ron talked about "context". If he's not feeling it's disrespectful and it's a friend he knows isn't saying it that way, and is good with it all, where's the irony?

If our boy Don Ron was throwing around all this cash that he couldn't afford in an attempt to seek approval from these girls or buy a relationship or something-- then I would agree with Lance. However I think it's pretty obvious that: (1) Ron has the cash to blow and (2) he's not looking for a commitment, just a good time.

ergo- Lance is wrong

and (3) these girls would probably let Ron have his way with them even if he didn't throw big orgy parties and buy blow, etc. I get the feeling most of these women are genuinely attracted to Ron and that the late night parties are just another reason to want to hang out with him, but not the ONLY reason.

But part of me is wondering if Lance isn't so much telling you that you're "buying" these chicks, but rather he may be genuinely curious how much super fine tail you can pull in. Like Playboy model type of talent. I'm kind of curious too...

I would think about what he said but in the end what matters is what you want. We only live once, do it your way.

That's exactly what I've been saying.

I think my stable is my stable yang.

The question you have to ask yourself is this:

Many years from now, lying on your deathbed with sheets of luxurious silk, mirrors all over the room with the inscription "objects may be larger than they appear" clearly stated on each one, and the cutest nurses attending to your every need, will you look back on your days and nights of lust and debauchery and wish you spent it going to Bed Bath and Beyond? Or will you long for those days of yore with a twinkle in your eye knowing that, while you may have been peed on unsuspectingly and you rubbed asses with another naked man while tied together, the heights of these encounters were worth it and you can be thankful that your last breath will be with some nursing school vixen holding your pleasure stick while stuffing her bra with three racks?

I think I know the answer.

The Feb 11th update doesn't belong in the headline TBH.

Tough to follow-up on the blizzard orgy, blowmagedon.

Lance has a lot of nerve trying to tell Ron how to live his life. It is not like Ron is some irresponsible young punk. That being said, maybe Ron does want Ron to find a higher quality of women to stick. Tough to tell from that conversation.

No ####### Valentine's Day update :hot:

here's mine. Wife is 9 months prego, kid slept at in laws Sunday night. Wife didn't feel good, we didn't move from bed all day, I begrudgingly got a handjob.

top that ####ers

I think you're on to something here.

Ron.  When he gave you a hug where were his hands placed?

This thread has fallen so far from the front page. We deserve an update @azron  On a serious note - hope stuff is working out for you and your daughter.

It was a nice day out, so I threw on my Oakley CarbonX Briefs, Happy Socks, Brooks Brother vneck, Tommy Bahama linen pants, and Ferragamo loafers

Gooooo....
