Looking for a certain waiver option (1 Viewer)

Does any site have the option of waivers in conjuction with a free agent pickup window? What I'm looking to do is make it waivers during the week, but on Sunday morning from 8am-10am (pacific time) a manager can pick up players without bidding/having to wait a day.

Reasons for this:

a) Casual managers can react to injuries/downgrades

b) Still a bidding system in the early week for the WW

c) You don't have to put in a whole bunch of $0 claims as a contigency plan like you do with 100% waivers

d) a surprise snow game last year ruined a guy's season because of his kicker

I've been with Yahoo for a long time but this isn't an option there, and I'm getting fed up with them anyway due to their awful app that crashes every minute and other stuff. I emailed Fleaflicker after last season but it doesn't look like they've changed it. Any options here?

We are going to try this in our league for the 2014 season. I contacted MFL to make sure it would work. (ours is a salary/contract league)

Blind Bidding starts at 9pm on Thursday nights and runs until 9pm on Wednesday, when they are processed. Minimum salary starts at $500.

At 10am on Sundays, our First Come First Serve wager period starts. Owners can pick up players, as long as that players game hasn't kicked off. The FCFS Period runs until kickoff of the Monday night game. Minimum salary for FCFS player is $1000.

I believe MFL added a beta waivers option for this season. I will have to manually adjust the minimum bid amount for FCFS, since the system only recognizes one minimum amount for any free agent acquired.

Yes, as KCitons said, MFL can handle this. My leagues have been doing this for about 6 years. We have two blind bidding waiver sessions which run from end of MNF to Wednesday night and then from Wednesday night until Saturday noon. After Saturday noon it's FCFS with everyone acquired getting a salary equal to the minimum allowed bid for our hard cap purposes.

When setting it up, don't get confused by the option to differentiate between free agents and players on waivers. That's something else. For your purposes, all you need to do is set up the waiver sessions in the league calendar with the right type (bidding or FCFS) and the right start and end dates, and then set the default values.
