I fail to see the value of being on a side of this. It's an intersecting biological fact that you care less about that which is most different from you. I find it bizarre that everyone thinks playing amateur forensic scientist is the important takeaway from this story when stuff like this is going on.

Three journalists from German newspapers were also taken into custody on Monday evening. Two of them, Ansgar Graw and Frank Herrmann of the newspaper Die Welt, were detained for three hours and then released without any charges.

Wow, some people on here sound like this minister they interviewed yesterday on the Hugh Hewitt show. The guy was very rationale and had a ton of good points. But then when they asked him if he could see a situation where the officer was charged or a situation where the officer was exonerated and this guy said no, he is guilty and that is it.

My God are you people still fighting?? We have almost no information to make a determination. We haven't heard ANYTHING from the officers point of view and we've only heard a couple of things from Brown's point of view.

All I know so far is that the people rioting and looting have absolutely NO INTEREST in this case. They are just trying to get free stuff.

Drunk drivers don't deserve the death penalty but when you put yourself in bad situations bad things happen. I am amazed this concept is tough to grasp for some people.....

Just ridiculous. This stuff is happening over and over again, every night. Where's the outrage from the public? From our elected leaders? From the 24 hour news networks (MSNBC/Chris Hayes seem to be the only ones focusing on it)?

Guess it's more fun to play CSI St. Louis than to worry about police officers taking a dump on the Constitution, civil rights and accountability.

We haven't heard ANYTHING from the officers point of view and we've only heard a couple of things from Brown's point of view.

To be fair, we haven't heard anything from Brown's point of view. I suspect that will remain.

Pretty sure that you aren't supposed to walk around gun drawn on your shoulder in a crowd like that. He's a fatty walking backwards and sideways. There's a high risk of a tip over and accidental firing.

ETA: Now I read the whole letter. It's a good read and he has some really good points he makes in calling out the present chief. And his schtick makes it entertaining to boot. Good thing he published the letter rather than sending it privately.

That's just terrible logic. Relevant evidence to a criminal charge =/= important information to release to the public. If they were the same, there's a lot more important stuff that this guy should be a lot more concerned about releasing to the public immediately- written reports like an incident and/or weapons discharge report, audio of any communication that day between Brown and other police, records of medical treatment including when/if EMS was called to the scene and what they found and did, and so on and so on.

No demand that this information be released to the public? Why not? It's relevant to the possibility of a criminal charge, isn't it?

If a person is going to walk backwards and cross their feet over sideways while having an assault rifle in the ready position through a peaceful crowd, I'd prefer they be a bit more balanced.
