Buffalo wants a 3rd, that's been the price all along. If they don't get it, they keep their 24 year old power back who has 2 years left on his very affordable contract. Buddy Nix isn't ######ed, he knows Buffalo has a ton of needs, but the chances that a 4th or 5th rounder fill one of them are slim.
It's been said that Buffalo would also make the deal for a player & a low round pick. They have major needs at OT & OLB. The Bills brass is rumored to like Green Bay's OLB Brad Jones, who doesn't start for the Packers, but would start for sure in Buffalo. Jones & a 6th would be a done deal IMO.
Green Bay could get Fred Jackson for a 4th, that move actually makes the most sense for both teams.

I've never totally understood the burning passion to run Marshawn Lynch out of town. Was he worth a 1st round pick? No, but that's water under the bridge. He's a perfectly serviceable RB who would serve as a great complement to Spiller if we had anybody to block for either of them, which of coruse we don't. And I know he may not be a model citizen, but come on.

For all the folks that hate the Maroney comparison, I'm wondering why, if Lynch is so much better, then why was he outplayed by Jackson? Why was Spiller drafted? And most to the point, why is he on the trade block at age 24?

I think that line of thinking is reserved for teams who view themselves as contenders.
