Is it me or does it just seem like Lynch is too good of a player to be buried in Buffalo's depthchart. How long do you think until a team picks him up? I would think Arizona would be a good fit given Wells' increasing injury situation or possibly even Cleveland with the Ghost. Anyone feel he is worth a spot on a limited roster?

i believe he's signed through next year. and obviously someone thinks he's still decent because they wont give him up for less than a 3rd.

I thought Buffalo would trade him, but the fact that they haven't yet, makes it highly unlikely at this point. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have three capable backs in the NFL. Lots of teams ended up needing three or even more backs last season.

This is an absurd statement.Lynch is in excellent condition and could in no way be considered even slightly overweight. He is solid at 5'11" 215lbs, but plays much bigger than he really is, which you obviously haven't seen. He is also known as a very hard worker & makes most of his yardage after contact (he has no choice behind that o-line), hardly lazy.Unless by lazy you mean that he once drove around with a gun in his trunk & was arrested, or skipped OTAs while reqesting trade, then I guess you have a point.

Exactly what I was thinking. The only way Buffalo might get a 3rd is if they play him, otherwise they should take what they can get now since his value is only going to go down after sitting all season. He is a pretty good RB, not great. He needs a good oline, because he really can't create.

I just can't see how this is a well-informed analysis. Lynch has always played behind a terrible O-line. Over the years, he has made some of the most impressive runs back to the line of scrimmage I have ever seen. When most backs would have lost 4 yards, he gained one. Unfortunately, without an O-line, that talent does not translate into fantasy production.

He lost his job while he was suspended. Fred Jackson came in and never let it go. My problem with him is that he dances too much behind the line instead of hitting the holes hard, but he is a beast to tackle.

So the fact that Lynch averaged over 4 YPC, while having back to back 1000 yard season in his first two years is nothing short of a miracle. He didnt play well last season, but it isnt because he lacks talent. As a Bills fan i hate to say it, but i think he will be a very good back once he gets out of Buffalo.Anyone who thinks he is not talented didnt watch him play during his first two years. The guy was getting hit the second he took a handoff. He literally had to break 3 tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage. I remember thinking how good he would be on a team with even a decent oline.

Lynch is signed for this year and the 2 following for IIRC 1.14 million. If Buff can't get enough for him in a trade why deal him when he is a player who can produce when called upon and comes at reasonable price.
