But I'm glad he's gone. That storyline wasn't interesting enough to continue. For the record there was not enough Joan this episode and waaaayyyyyyy to much Peggy.
I actually like Peggy. Interesting character and good acting. Must be tough to play someone so socially awkward. That being said, I'd prefer more Joan time. Actually, I'd love a spin-off just about Joan and her life.
I wasn't live in the 60's, but I'd imagine that she's nailing this role. I would assume that as the show keeps going, Peggy will become a lot more comfortable with herself, and you'll start seeing her become a lot more "Joanlike" but in a more professional anner.
Now that I think about it, did they *ever* really do a long arc? Lots of mini arcs, but nothing that lasted a season and dominated. Even the sale of the agency was just a few episodes.And they have a few mini-arcs now: The two heads of accounts / gay Sal / Peggy on the town / Grandpa (done now) / Roger's daughter's big wedding (the day after JFK).... not sure if we're gonna see anything big.jdoggydogg said:

She's definitely good for this role. I suspect this casting is a lot like some of the roles in The Sopranos.
