I thought he did pretty good as host of Saturday Night Live. The United Way skit was the best. The show on the whole sucks. What did you think?

Question... is the show still broadcast live? I have not watched it in ages before this week, but some of the promos before 11:30 had clips from the actual show. But I did remember why I had stopped watching it. Talk about not funny! Not sure how this show stays on the air...

It's always shot live earlier in the day then broadcast at night.

I don't think so. They do a dress rehersal at 8PM before a live studio audience to test out the skits that make the live show. Then they bring in a whole new audience at 11:30 for the live show.With the crap that makes the air, I'd hate to see what gets cut!

Holy balls I agree with you. Good call. I count on several staples in each SNL show: 2 men must kiss, Bush gets ripped on leading to an extra long New York applause, and one of the B actors can't make it through a marginally funny skit without busting out in uncontrollable laughter.

SNL has been aweful for the last 6-7 years. Peyton did great, just too bad the show wasn't funny. United Way bit was decent though.
