Oh bull####.Pedro wasn't a mid season coup. He left on what was basically his own terms as a free agent. Did he say some things on the way out? Sure he did, but it was nowhere near as bad as the Manny situation.Nomar was a shell of his former self at the time he was run out of town and is irrelevant in this conversation because he's never been back to Fenway as a player, let alone the first time being a World Series game. Unless he's been back in some other facet, with a full crowd on hand, that I don't know about, we don't know what kind of ovation he'd get. Although, I'm sure it's far enough in the past that it would be fine.Manny is still a MVP caliber superstar who basically railroaded himself out of town in the middle of a pennant race.
