I've been carrying Super Mario and playing him each week. The numbers aren't totalling.

I've checked his stats and he has 9 QB hits and 14 QB Pressures, but is just not getting the QB and tallying sacks. Those are measurables in line with the best producing DE this season.

Can anyone account for why he's not getting to the QB and getting the sacks? I assume he sees just as many double teams as other top DEs, but they ARE getting the regular numbers. Has he faced teams whose O-line are the best in the league and who can slow him down? Or is he simply not effective in the situations where you expect him to be effective.

What is the expectation moving forward? Will the sacks come? or will he remain stymied?

I have other guys like Andre Carter out there on the FA List and am just wondering at what point do I make a change.

Mario has been hindered with injuries. Don't expect to much from d ends they need to play a passing team to get sack oppurtunities. He is still a stud but he draws alot of coverage I am keeping him but watching the matchups

Yep been injured, mainly through weeks 5-6-7. Only had the one bad game vs Jacksonville prior and he got the sack last week.

Given the Houston O friepower, if they get up early Williams will see his fair share of sack opportunities when he pins the ears back.

Mario is close to getting 100% (shoulder). Also he's very close to bustin' out. Has a great matchup this week vs Buffalo (though Fitzpatrick is not getting sacked as much as Edwards) Only five teams have allowed more sacks (on average) than the Bills and only Jax has more QB Hits (on average).

No way I sit him this week.

Has some decent matchups coming up JAX-13, STL-14 and SEA-15, but also has a pair of tough ones with the Colts (weeks 9-12).

Andre Carter has been playing very well, I would considere pluggin' him in for Mario in weeks 9 and 12, however Carter has a tough matuchp vs Atlanta in week 9. I would defintiley want Mario as an option for weeks 13-15.
