I voted for #1. :hophead: BTW, if ones peemus won't stop dripping, should one consult a physician
:lmao:This is bad on so many levels, not the least of which it is a butchering of a once-decent shtick.
 But I know the real secret, that she rather enjoys choke-####ing....and a finger in the ###...
Nothing about your lame attempt at employing this time honored shtick is even remotely approaching funny.
I want to party with you and your wife...

If your wife continues to deny it, then fine, you act like you believe her and start talking about how you're going to talk to the police because you think she was raped. She either breaks down and tells you, legitimately doesn't remember, or is so scared to tell you that she will let it ride out.
This is insane.
Why? If his wife was fondled and honestly was too drunk to remember it, then it is sexual assault. Of course, we know that isn't true, and this will likely allow the truth to come out.
I just don't see why you need to resort to such outlandish tactics as acusing someone of rape when you have no hard evidence that this is the case. Fine, he should have another conversation with his wife. Maybe go nuts on Steve. But rape?
I agree with KT on this. MIYH needs to get aggressive in this spot, but tossing a rape accusation out there, even as a tactical ploy, dramatically escalates this situation.
So what? The point is to escalate the situation to the point where lying to cover up the sexual encounter becomes trivial relative to the fake real-looking consquences.
Right now, MIYH is the injured party, and for better or for worse the only leverege he really has is the fact that occupies the moral high ground. As soon as he throws a out a rape accusation, that changes. He knows that charge is groundless. Steve, George, and his wife all know that charge is groundless. And worse, they know that he knows the charge is groundless. All of the three other characters are going to be able to read this for exactly what it is: a bluff. And they're all going to be able to respond with righteous indignation about how could MIYH possibly accuse his old college buddy of something like that with no evidence etc. etc. So now instead of the focus being on how Steve got stall-head from MIYH's wife, the focus is going to be shifted to MIYH's recklessness. That's counterproductive.

Is it safe to say that we are 100% convinced that Steve was fooling around with your wife? 100%?
No, women with tight fitting bras with large puppies always involuntarily pop out all by themselves.
Possible but she was drunk off her rocker....
The guys on the way to the bathroom may have talked her into showing the goods. That's probably the best case scenario (and one that really wouldn't bother me all that much, frankly).

I just read what happened and skipped all the rest, so not sure if I'm missing out on anything that may have been added.

I say just let it go. You saw the flirting, George was trying to tell you something, and you just laughed it off. Y'all were drunk, which is no excuse, but it's over and done with. Next time listen to George when he points out that they're not back yet. He seemed more concerned about it than you did.

Maybe I missed it, but has it been stated just how outraged the wife is over being groped in her drunken condition?

Cuz if she's not...

Seriously. OMG!!! My boobs are just FLOPPING out!!! How in the hell did THAT happen?! I will tell you how it happened, she was ####ing around with Steve. Trying to think of a good way to manipulate her into telling what happens, because she damn well remembers, as does everyone else that was there.

Wyldfox, are you saying that if they had the secks he is supposed to ignore this because of these previous things that happened?

Like yours never try to escape....

It's about 95% certain that your wife screwed around on you with a friend of yours.

It's about 70/30 (IMO) that she's lying to you about not remembering anything.

It's about 90% certain that George is lying to you about not remembering all of this.

You have 3 people involved. You use each of them as leverage on whoever you're talking to.

Corner your wife. You tell her that you just got off the phone with George, and he told you that he saw X. X can be saw them messing around in the stall, X can be he saw her bra on the floor of the stall. X can be that Steve said something to him about hooking up with your wife. X can be ANYTHING you want to say.

If your wife continues to deny it, then fine, you act like you believe her and start talking about how you're going to talk to the police because you think she was raped. She either breaks down and tells you, legitimately doesn't remember, or is so scared to tell you that she will let it ride out.

Fine.

Go see Steve.

You don't call him, you go SEE him. You don't want him to be able to hang up on you and call your wife or George. You go see Steve and tell him that George told you he saw X, and his wife doesn't remember what happened - you tell him that you know that he raped/took advantage of his wife, and not only are you going to tell his wife (I THINK Steve is married?) but that your wife is considering pressing charges against him.

One of them will crack. Either your wife or Steve blurts out what happened. You don't even need to lean on George, although you can if you absolutely need to - George probably won't want to think that Steve can be charged with rape or something if he (George) knows that it appeared consentual.

This all might seem a little extreme, but these people are lying to your face. They're lying to you because they don't respect you or just think they can get away with it. This isn't some small social thing, or a manner thing, or an uncomfortable secret - this is the mother of your children and the woman you sleep in bed with - you need to do all that you can to find out if she is capable of nailing your friends and then lying to you about it.
This post here provides the full-proof method of getting at the truth I think. Of course, there will be all sorts of consequential damages with this approach.

He's not going to be able to find out if it did happen. He should have stood his ### up and walked to the bathroom when George made it clear that something was going on. Just MO.

What if the operation was just completed yesterday?

Maybe you should tell your wife you found out what happened and that you're filing for divorce and you hope she's not pregnant. See how her memory is then.

 This is a great "why didn't I think of this question" posts...MITYH, where was his wife....lemme guess, blacked out??

Yellow Hat... you tell us.... What do YOU think happened? Honestly.
Dude, I have no idea. The problem is, I could think of hundreds of scenarios, but no one seems to be able to tell me a damn thing. Having known these people so long, I find it hard to believe they'd do this, especially with me and Steve's wife only a few hundred feet away. Then again, alcohol can do things to be people that can't be explained.George is the bachelor of the group, and will probably remain that way for a while. Now again, we're always joking around about stuff, so I couldn't tell at the time if he was serious or not. That's what makes this damn frustrating.

I'm not married so I don't quite understand huge levels of trust, but if my s/o went to the bathroom with a bunch of other dudes, I would make damned sure to tag along. Fine, you get a pass for that gaffe (I understand trusting your spouse/buddies). Your buddy comes down, the wife and the man SHE USED TO HAVE A CRUSH ON, the guy YOU KNOW USED TO BE AND STILL IS A PLAYER AND A FLIRT don't, and he tells you that you really should go check on them because they went into the stall together and you just SIT THERE AND DO NOTHING?

Wow, grow some balls.

Although I agree you shouldn't ask any questions if you're not prepared to get an answer.

Seriously, send Dodds a PM asking for tips. That should take care of Steve.

Only thing added by OP was that he emailed George and George said he doesn't remember anything. The other ~7 pages are comments from the FFA.

MITYH, I have to say I think you and everyone here are completely overreacting about the whole situation. To me reading this it is much more plausible that George and Steve were just screwing with you about your wife being in the same stall with Steve. The original post indicates there was a lot of joking of this nature going on the whole trip. I don't know the characters in the story but to me it seems it's more likely that they were just ####### with you than your wife and your friend cheated on you (even though they were intoxicated). You have no first hand evidence that they were in the same stall, nobody remembers any significant goings on, and it wouldn't be all that strange for a man to wait for a woman to escort her safely back from the bathroom on a late night camping trip. Obviously I think you should talk to your wife, Steve, and George about what happened if you are concerned about it, but I think you should be more trusting your wife and your friend. Innocent until proven guilty.

George is the bachelor of the group, and will probably remain that way for a while. Now again, we're always joking around about stuff, so I couldn't tell at the time if he was serious or not. That's what makes this damn frustrating.
So you think it was a possibility that he was joking around about them being in the same stall, and that he doesn't remember making the joke? And what was Steve laughing about when they came back? Do you remember the converstation?

Is George that much a jokester that he would mention the fact the two of them went into the stall not once, but twice? How did Steve's wife react when they finally came back?

...I could think of hundreds of scenarios, but no one seems to be able to tell me a damn thing.
Brother, at the risk of over-generalizing: if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...I've asked it before, but what do you honestly think the odds are that you're the ONLY person that didn't blackout that night? People are hiding #### from you. And maybe they're doing it so that they "don't hurt you". But the FACT remains that something went on that NOBODY wants to tell you about. What do you think that might be? What could POSSIBLY be that bad?

And his wife's hoots?? Were they just part of this hillarious, madcap gag?
