Marques Colston with a Rushing TD? (1 Viewer)

I'm assuming this is wrong, but NFL.com lists Marques Colston as having rushed 1 time for 4 yds and a TD. That's in addition to his 1 receiving TD.

I think this is wrong, but it's on NFL.com. Anyone who watched this game have any insight?

he may have caught it behind the line of scrimmage and ran it in, but from what I saw, it was a reception . . .

Ya it had to be behind the Line. Thats the second straight week this has happened with Colston. At least this time it turned out to be a TD, and not a waste of reception and yardage totals.

Thought I saw this while watching Super Fan on DTV. I think it was a end-around handoff...

The highlight is on NFL.com, you can watch it yourself. I guess they'll figure out tomorrow or Tuesday whether it was a pass or lateral.

You guys are talking about two different plays.

Colston's garbage time TD was clearly a pass.

However, on some sites he's also getting credit for a four yard rush TD on the Saints first score. This is wrong, it was the fullback Karney who scored that TD.

NFL.com has it right now, although some sites (Yahoo, for example) still have him with two TDs.

Thanks for the head up. I just noticed that and never questioned his TD's. Hopefully they correct it soon.
