- INDY game tonight should be a shootout
I know... but I am a little askeered that we're all gonna' be let down here.
and then the announcers will be droning on about how the NFL offenses take a few weeks to catch up to the NFL defense in the beginning of the regular season.
Did they see Brees in the preseason? Man among boys....35 for 39? I would say that the passing game is clicking for NO and I don't think Manning misses a beat considering his Weapons. And both D's are known to give up the big play.
Shootout....
Yes, it was a shoot out. Too bad one side forgot to bring any bullets. The Saints O scored exactly 3 points? Yikes....Looks like they have TB, Tenn, and a bye to get it sorted out...

not one score by any Saints skill position players. Ouch.
I was askeered because the only predictable thing about the NFL is it's unpredictability. I remember week 15 last year, December 17th In Chicago. The Bears D was a lock at home, against the hapless Bucs, in December. The Bears D got torched for 31points. Who'd a thunk it.
We didn't get our shootout last night, we go a blowout.
NO was running the ball OK until Manning put up the (2) quick scored in the 3rd qtr. After that, NO/Brees were forcing the big play; they played like they didn't have enough time to run anymore.
It's a credit to Manning really. He takes over the game. He makes teams abandon a gameplan to play catchup. Defensive Player of the game for the Colts? Peyton Manning. He did it to NE last year too.
What was the over/under on this game (no access to gambling sites right now).
I heard it was 53 and the under paid. Is that true?
