Marvin Harrison is a liability (1 Viewer)

His stats were ho-hum, but the Human Liability made a nice fourth-down catch that helped the Colts beat the Chargers.
I really thought that Marvin could have got up and got out of pounds but he just laid there in the fetal position.

Yeah that was sweet how he didn't drop a ball thrown to him so wide open most school kids woulda caught it - love how he didn't even try to get up and get an extra yard or 2. ol Alligator Arms is so done! he needs to do the Colts a favor and retire. Maybe he could go back to Philly and open up a car wash or gun shop or something. Or he could just combine the 2.
There is some writing brilliance right there. Did you work on that all night?

the liability on that play was the severely under thrown ball from manning... if harrison had been lead on that rec, he could've easily picked up several more yards and gotten out of bounds...

:clyde:I think the reason Marvin didn't get up was because he was still shocked at how poorly the pass had been.

I thought he made a pretty poor play on Manning's pick. He sat back waiting for the ball while Jammer was aggressive and went up and got it.

He would have been hit as he was getting up and he probably would have fumbled. Harrison did the smart thing by staying down.

Marvin has a history of doing anything to avoid hits, so I disagree that he did it because it was the smart thing.

But it turned out to be the smart thing, didn't it?

Marvin also fought and caught the short pass before that play that helped set up Indy! He didn't shy away from contact at all. Give the guy some credit, he has bounced the past couple of weeks and had a really good game 2 weeks ago, and played an important role last night.

Yes I know but it pales in comparison to your contribution. Would you care to actually comment on the topic at hand or continue instigating a cat fight? that time of month?
