The playoff win was in 1991, when Chuck Schmidt was the GM. The Lions haven't sniffed the playoffs during Millen's tenure.

I think that was the game where Montana led the Chiefs into Houston and beat the heavily-favored Oilers. That was something. Houston had a SB-caliber team that year.

I bet at least 30% of the league doesn't have 1 playoff win since 2001, including the Cowboys.
Are you really coming here to defend Matt Millen? I'm not sure what to say. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about, but the fact you ignored that, and went on a football forum to make a post. If you could break down the metal steps you took, when you heard the news, your reaction. How it led to you posting this thread. Then Google can index it, and PhD psychologists can study it for 100s of years. TIA

ZERO Playoff wins from 2001-2007:ARZ - changed GMs and coachesBUF - changed GMs at least 3 times and multiple coachesCIN - ??CLE - changed GMs DAL - changed coachesDETHOU - changed GMs and coachesKC - changed GMs and coachesMIA - changed GMs and coaches9 of 32 teams = 28%
Notice anything interesting about that?
