Wilhelm should get plenty of opportunity by scheme in the base defense. He doesn't play on all nickel snaps, however. That might continue to make him a risky and inconsistent option, especially since there's no guarantee which SD team shows up any given week.

The last two weeks Wilhelm has posted some awsome numbers since getting healthy. I believe Phillips is also healthy. What can we expect this week against the Colts? After researching the past middle LB's that have faced Addai and Manning, they almost all have had 9 or 10 solos. I always like playing a LB that faces a team that leads in TOP. Is Wilhelm a top 5 possibilities this week?

I think his numbers may depend if he plays in the nickel which my understanding is he probably will not...

I don't think he will play in the Nickel either...I just can't trust the guy...he has let me down to many times this season. I dropped him and no one else in my league has given him a second look (or any of the Charger LB's outside of Merriman really).

Unless Haynesworth is out I will probably play him over Bulluck this week

I'm trying to decide if I should pick him up. He is available. I hate to break out the WDIS, but would he be a good play over: Lofa, Beason, Dansby or B. James? TY
