If you have any SUNDAY updates on the status of Matthew Stafford, please post them here.

If you want to discuss your lineup predicaments or shooot the breeze, go to the Assistant Coach forum or another thread in the Shark Pool discussing this situation.

This thread is strictly for the latest Sunday news

CBS:

News: According to ESPN, Lions QB Matthew Stafford will start Week 8 at Denver. He's officially listed as questionable and is considered a game-time decision because of an ankle injury that limited him in practice this week.Analysis: Lions coach Jim Schwartz has been optimistic about Stafford playing all along, but Stafford hasn't been as certain. He was injured on the offense's final play in Week 7, but he said he would have tried to return if the Lions had gotten another possession. Though he's coming off his worst performance this season, Stafford is still a No. 1 Fantasy QB. You want him active for this matchup if he's able to play.

From Rotoworld:

ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Matthew Stafford (ankle) is expected to start Sunday's game at Denver.

Stafford told Werder that he "will start and is confident he can make every throw." While Stafford's track record may raise concerns that he was listed as questionable on the injury report, there hasn't been a single negative report on his health status all this week. We fully expect Stafford to start against the Broncos, and don't see any reason to believe he'd be inhibited.
