A little under three months. Today we looked at some kind of basket that goes in the crappers with cologne and breath mints for the guys and who the hell knows what for the girls. In a related story, I did some research and it looks like a vertical cut to the vein is the least painful, especially if you hold it in ice water.Championship? Your receivers are going to blow and Jacobs won't add much to your weekly scoring. Survivor leagues are trending towards taking receivers faster than ever before, and you don't even have one. You can't afford a stud QB or TE anymore, or you won't even get a guy who's WR1 on his own team. And this all assumes Jacobs is a good enough running back to hold down a feature job, which I'm not convinced of at all. I passed on him at this pick because I don't believe that, but even if I did, and even if Gore/Cadillac work out as well as you seem to think, I'd still think Jacobs was a terrible pick for you. Championship? Really?3.06 - Brandon Jacobs

Deuce and Lynch were next on my draft board, but I went with Jacobs because he has more upside.3.11 Marshawn Lynch OUCH!3.12 Adrian Peterson OUCH!3.13 Deuce McAllister OUCH!I was hoping one of these three would fall. ADP, McAllister, Lynch in that order. Think McAllister's the safest to repeat his 2006 stats (ehhh, i'll take it at this point in the draft). Think Peterson has the highest potential ---> think C.Taylor's 2006 +++. I would take Lynch as a starting RB because he will start. But I can't help but think he'll attain James 2006 stats at best (can't think of what they were but it couldn't have been better than 1000-1100 yds, 6-7 total TDs, 38-45 catches). McGahee was my hopeful for the 1st. Tells you that I think its Buffalo! McGahee is going to do just fine in Baltimore. I am sure McGahee's attitude THERE had some effects to, but that's why I project Lynch 2007 as better than McGahee 2006. But McGahee 2007 is going to be a crowd pleaser. Heck, I would have EVEN taken Jacobs at this point. By the way, Droughns looked good the other night, didn't he? :whoosh:These icon thingys rock. Check this guy out. Its that guy from WKRP in Cinncinati. And his twin brother.
LOL...Sort of what I suspected. On a positive note, the crapper basket things will subside with time. I think it's directly corelated with sexual relations.A little under three months. I'm not sure what you're implying here, but we're not putting sexual relations in the crapper basket.LOL...Sort of what I suspected. with 2 minutes to spare - get this guy a role on 243.14. Plaxico Burress
I personally would have said that much nicer. Or I would have added the words "Hey #####" instead of "Hey (name)."Hey Ref, you one heck of a moderator, could you possibly color code the picks by position? I am sure you understand. That would be great.Hey Ref how about cleaning the first page up

Caddy at 3.11 was insane value -- he was actually the second highest RB on my board back at 2.06. Of course I'm not as anti-WR as LHUCKS, so I could go WR there and still grab the falling RB in the third. But Cadillac is absolutely worth a 2d round pick in this format, no question about it.What's your point? When I said his ADP was bad, I meant that everybody is taking him too late around here, not that the ADP you provided was incorrect.3.11 abrecher- Carnell "Cadillac" Williams , RB233.7 Reaper - Caddy Williams - RB23 - TB

Bro - you kinda nominated yourself as modarator when you started the thread. Your the only one who can edit the first post.So not only do I getI personally would have said that much nicer. "Well lets all get bikini waxes so we all look good for our closeups."I'll try and clean it up when I am home tonight and have more time on my hands.

Yeah, I had you penciled in for Winslow. Tough break. I almost took Winslow at 2.16/3.1. But too much research turned me towards the perenial Gonzo! Winslow will have to beat 84 catches, 900yds, 8TDs to equal Gonzo. Gates will probably go 90 catches, 1000yds, and 11TDs. The difference is not enough, which is why I passed on Gates when he's been a 1st rounder in these drafts. You have got to be kidding.4.09 (BassNBrew) Kellen Winslow

In retrospect, I should have taken the 7 pick. My choice of the #5 pick was based on the guys I thought would be available at each pick, but I've reached by a pick or two on the way down and missed a guy I like by just a pick or two on the way up in each round so far. I didn't think that Gore, Addai and Westbrook would all have slipped to 5, since they were the three guys after Tomlinson and Jackson that made me want the #5 pick. I could have gotten a slightly better second round receiver, probably still would have gotten Boldin, and would have gotten Winslow here.Yeah, I had you penciled in for Winslow. Tough break. I hate the fact that I'm ending up with him so much, but I'll take Tatum Bell

We rename the league WCOFF, you guys send me a pile of money, I take a 20% cut, and sometime next year I send someone besides Lhucks the 80% for winning the league.wow, 14 rounds left and we went through 8 picks today. if my math is correct, that means it will take another 28 days at this rate. what happens if the season starts while we're drafting?
My greatness will be recognized when I once again finish near the top of this group of amateurs. I'll see some of you in December.
