A billion options, Royal Sonesta, Monteleone or Bourbon Orleans in the Quarter, but the Hyatt Place and Marriott on Convention Center Blvd are right next to the cruise lines. The Hilton on Poydras is right in between. The Roosevelt is more CBD but just a block or so from teh Quarter.Hey guys. Need some last second help. Send me a check for $25 to McClure's Barbecue @ 4800 Magazine St. N.O. LA. 70115 with a return address and I'll ship them asap. You get 2oz of each rub (pork, chicken, brisket, and ribs) along with smoked salt to play with as you will.Congrats Tipsy! Are you still selling rub? Can you re-post how to order?

Lunch on Wed, Fri, or Sunday would be best...but I'm there often outside of that too. Thursday is a terrible. Saturday is terrible...taking a whole pig about 45 away for catering. The Z Machine said:I'm coming to NOLA Tuesday night through Friday afternoon. When and where can I meet the famous Mr. McClure (again)?
That makes sense, just seemed like you were getting shut out on the credit.Matt is the kitchen manager / pit master over there. I trained him. He has my recipes. We aren't trying to sell me being there. I'll be the guy that shows up once a week to taste everything and ##### about cleanliness and food labeling & rotation.
2nd this idea. Although horrible exit/entry, I know a lot of people that would go just to see college tail again.ETA not to mention there is a severe lack of decent bbq joints in the area.I like how you're trending Eastward. The Shed's old building still sits vacant across from South Alabama.![]()

You need to give a price range for dinner. In New Orleans, there's a wide range of prices and choices.I'll plan on Wednesday lunch assuming schedule permits.Lunch on Wed, Fri, or Sunday would be best...but I'm there often outside of that too. Recs for dinner during my time there? I'm staying at the Sheraton near the CBD.

Dominica has a great happy hour with half price pizza between 2-5 and .50 oysters and half price drinks - or did the last time I was there.Butcher is a solid cheaper meal. The rest are all $25+ entrees for dinner.
Could probably get away cheaper at herbsaint, Dominica and Cochon for lunch
I know I'll get flamed for this, but I've have access to good bbq. I'm sure yours is top notch stuff, but I suspect in comparing your food to food in this area you would differentiate yourself with the sides IMO. Something tells me this menu would be a huge hit and play to your experience and strengths. Obviously as a business owner you have to follow the money not necessarily your strongest skill set. This menu sounds amazing and creative.ah....brunch has been brought up here again. this city is obsessed with brunch so maybe we go forward soon.

I'm telling you, if you opened a spot inBrooklynpretty much anywhere, it would be riskier and more costly, but you'd knock it out of the park. Seriously.
They take them, so its safer to make them b/c I'm not sure if there's a huge conference in town or if there are any plays/concerts nearby. Although if you're at a point where you can't make them, I'd imagine you could walk in just fine (not withstanding the play/concerts/convention thing)Awesome. What about reservations at Domenica?
