McGahee injuries (1 Viewer)

Anyone think Ball may actually have some value tonight? I don't think there's any way Denver has a run:pass ratio as extreme as last week, but they WILL run the ball a lot still. Clearly, if McGahee aggravates his hammy, Ball is in line for a lot of carries. But even if McGahee doesn't re-injure himself? Wouldn't Ball still get a good number of touches with the Denver coaching staff playing it safe with MCGahee?

I'm betting on Ball over Beanie Wells. That's how bad I think Well's matchup v SF is this week. That and I don't think McGahee holds up.

I really don't have an option I have to go with one or the other. My RB crew is pretty crappy since I lost Bradshaw and Ingram used as a flex. So I am waiting to hear from the pre-game information if McGahee is a go or not. I don't like the match up that much either, but not much you can do when you are in a 12 team league and the wavier wire is picked clean.

Is anyone watching? Have they mentioned how he looked in warmups, or speculate whether he'll split carries with Ball?

NFL Network's Stacey Dales confirms that Willis McGahee (hamstring) is active for Thursday night's game against the Jets.McGahee comes with the risk of re-injury, but he sprinted fully and made "violent cuts" in warmups. Beat writer Lindsay Jones notes that he looked "significantly more limber" in pre-game warmups than he did in practice two days ago. Coach John Fox tells Dales that "Willis will play in Willis fashion," which suggests that he will be featured heavily. We're rolling the dice with McGahee as a high-end RB2 option in a run-dominant offense.

Sweet. Now just have to hope he doesn't reinjure it.

Last minute switch to McGahee... I need a big day from a RB to have a chance of winning this week so I'm going big... *Crosses fingers*

Im not at a tv .... How does he look and how is he being used??
He looks fine. Injury free. Denver has handed off to him about 5 times. They are handing off to anyone and everyone though, really spreading it around. McGahee just fumbled as I am typing this.

I picked McGahee up a few weeks ago off waivers. He sat on my bench 2 weeks ago when he blew up. Started him last week and this week. 2 points last week and -.8 so far this week. Ya me.
