Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has asked for a postseason face-to-face with head coach Andy Reid, team president Joe Banner and owner Jeffrey Lurie regarding his future. When asked about the meeting he had with Reid after being benched against the Baltimore Ravens Nov. 23, McNabb said "We just kind of aired some things out. I didn't get to what I wanted to talk about, but we will have that conversation with Andy as well as some other people in the organization. I think it is very important. I've been here 10 years and a conversation is needed.''

I've been really souring on McNabb over the past couple of years from a likability standpoint. Guy just seems/sounds/acts like a primadona to me.

Could they have handled the benching differently? Sure, maybe. But just get over it. You were stinking up the joint and you got yanked. No need to make a federal case of it at this point. It's not like he can point to his super bowl rings when he's saying "Hey, you can't bench me!" in his little meeting.

These comments were made directly after the Cardinals game to the NFL Network crew, who (perhaps) goaded him into speaking about the benching. Doesn't really mean much until next season.
