i think griffin is a legit talent... he was known as a viscious hitter at texas & was among the rookie DB leaders in INTs... & that was when they started him at CB & he gradually emerged as a starting safety...
i agree with jene on a few things... for those who like to look at splits, his 2nd half was intriguing... when that happens to vets & i can't find an identifiable reason, it makes me wonder if it was flukey... but in the case of a rookie who switched positions & didn't start until the season progressed, that is kind of what you would expect if you had a talented rookie who is improving while he developes, & makes me a little more confident in projecting his second half over 16 games... hard to say how reproducible his INT outburst will prove (i think he had 3 INTs in about a three week span in the 2nd half, not doubt boosting his projection), but it is at least suggestive that he has ball skills & is capable of making plays when given the opportunity...
divisional opponent IND is no stranger to the passing game, & JAX & HOU look to be improving here, so he could have some opportunity...
also like jene, i'm concerned with the tackling ability of all three levels of the defense (not just the front seven... & i'm of course referring to how GOOD it is)... bullock had a steep dropoff last season largely due to this...
