Michael Turner owners (1 Viewer)

I was offered SJax...and turned it down.
Wow, you must be joking! just wow....
:hifive: I would have done the same thing. Sure SJax has all the tools but his team is downright putrid.
I had no idea the Falcons were so potent after beating the Lions at home, as opposed to the Rams losing to the Eagles on the road. I could be wrong, but I think "putrid" will pretty much describe the Falcons against better competition on the road this week.

The people who are down on Turner are the ones who wish they drafted him.

Atlanta has to be good, history says they win the division this year, and so do I!

Wrong attitude....Should always being willing to sell....but the price needs to right....
Apprently this requires being specific. If I were offered AP, LT, Addai, Edwards, etc. for him sure. But it's not likely you can land a top 10-12 overall player for him. So I'm holding him as I think he'll be a top 10-12 overall player going forward and into 2009.So, in other words, I'm not selling him.
I would sell him for Westbrook. That's it.Understand that he may have peaked, but right now, he's a lottery ticket. You don't give away lottery tickets.
I'd argue that if you move Turner for LT, AP, Addai, etc you've already won the lottery. You're essentially getting a high first rounder for what was likely a mid 4th round pick.

I dealt Turner for Peyton Manning in one league, in large part because the other guy had Rivers behind Manning.

Very, VERY happy with that kind of return. I think Turner will be very good this year, but it wouldn't surprise me if week 1 wasn't his best of the year.
I realize you didn't mean this, but what you said implies you believe Turner will have better games ahead.
DOH!

 I would take Turner over Addai.

You can check my avatar, and have your grain of salt. You will almost certainly regret trading Turner. This guy is for real, the oline is better than you (or I) thought, and this team is chomping at the bit to play for this coach.
Came to take my lumps, but I'll still stand by it. I put that on the game planning rather than Turner (only 14 carries), personally, and I hope they remember they have a great RB next week.

I like Michael Turner this year, and I still stand by that assertion. But if you didn't think you were going to have to pick your match-ups with him you were fooling yourself. Assuming his ankle injury isn't serious, I like him against the Chiefs this week as a solid RB2.
