Michael Vick in trouble? (2 Viewers)

Reported animal abuse on property owned by Vick

Possible report of dog fighting/#### fighting.

The reports are that Vick's nephew is actually the one that lives there and that Vick isn't there very often. Still, it's his property and I would think he would have had to have known what was going on.
i would believe it if he didnt know what was going on. he doesnt seem to have a handle on his own life wouldnt surprise me to think he doesnt know what his nephew is doing even though vick owns the property. having said that he should make it his business to know whats going on. ive defended vick in the past but the dude obviously needs to get his #### together. he acts like he has no responsibility. needs to learn some accountiblity.

Vick: "Really officer, I didn't know about or see the 70 dogs on my property, nor do I have any knowledge of the "extensive dog-fighting paraphernalia", equipment, and controlled substances that were uncovered."

Vick: "Really officer, I didn't know about or see the 70 dogs on my property, nor do I have any knowledge of the "extensive dog-fighting paraphernalia", equipment, and controlled substances that were uncovered."
and he will probably get off using just that

I like Vick but I'll just add...

"(KFFL) The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick missed his scheduled appearance on Capitol Hill to persuade lawmakers to increase funding for after-school programs. Vick's publicist, Susan Bass, said he was in Tampa, Fla., Monday, April 23, to play in RB Warrick Dunn's charity golf tournament. He then caught a flight to Atlanta that was supposed to arrive in time for him to make another flight to northern Virginia. The AirTran flight was late leaving Tampa, Vick missed his connection flight and wound up stuck in Atlanta, according to Bass. AirTran gave a different account. They acknowledged the flight from Florida was late getting to Atlanta, which caused Vick to miss his 8:35 p.m. flight to Virginia. Airline spokesman Tad Hutcheson said Vick was booked on a 10:50 p.m. flight. Hutcheson said Vick failed to show up for the flight, which left Atlanta with about 20 empty seats."

... and of course the water bottle. All this is pretty small time stuff but if you added it all together and tack on a few more maybe he'll eventually get a one game suspension for just being a general putz off the field. It's not this hard to keep your name out of negative news stories, it really isn't. Time to go sit in your mansion for the rest of the summer Michael. Take a time out.

not surprised one bit. I grew up near blacksburg and it was always something with him and Marcus. it seemed like every other week they were in the news for some dumb #### they had done. And of course they got away with everything. and I am sure this one will go away too.

Mike Vick=Coach AND dog killer?

Uhm, what does Atlanta do now if Vick gets suspended for the year?
Joey Harrington :P I say since the new Commish wants to crack down on the whole "Thug" image the league has gotten, he (Godell) will suspend Vick for some time. Who knows how long though?

Don't be surprised when the Falcons use one of their two second round picks on a QB.
If they were unhappy with Vick, why did they not hold onto Schaub? And are you saying Joey Harringotn isnt sufficient as a back up?
No not at all... I just think that they are have quite a bit different styles. I was just thinking the same as you,

If your gona suspend Chris Henry and Pac-Man Jones and Fine Brain Url $100,000 for drinking the wrong water, then he has too suspend Vick.. but he won't..Vick reminds me of some Highschool punk who breaks every rule and gets away with it..

Commish not concerned with VickPosted: Friday April 27, 2007 07:57AM ETNFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday that he did not seem to think there was a concern with Michael Vick. Vick is scheduled to appear in New York on Saturday at the NFL draft. Vick, Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall, former Bills defensive end Bruce Smith, Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer and Goodell will take part in a pre-NFL draft ceremony to honor the victims of the recent shooting tragedy at Virginia Tech.
This is total crap and a double standard if true. The correct answer should be "There's always a concern with the image of our league and its players. We will monitor the situation closely. If we feel there is a need for action on the part of the league, we will certainly do so, but that is not the case at this time."Given the guy's track record of incidents and all the flack that the Bengals have gotten, I'm sorry but I'm a little :goodposting: about this right now.-QG

Vick was the only reason I watched some falcons games, hes fun to watch, I guess the commish thinks so too. Pacman did little more than what vick has done, vick has been linked to drugs, thug like activity and petty incidents like henry and pacman, but recieves no punishment? Is he that important to the league? i guess...

No surprise here. Vick continues to prove what a dipspit he is. He's never been held accountable for anything, and it looks like he never will at this rate.

When was Vick linked to a shooting death? Isn't that what the 'rain' incident amounted to?

NFL doesnt care about "links" see Ray Lewis. Im saying what did Pacman get charged with? In regards to Vick's charges?

Vick hasn't been charged with anything.

Chris Henry has been officially arrested many times. Pac-Man has a video out where he beats on a stripper and is seen with a gunman who shot somebody.

LOL at the Vick haters comparing him to either of these guys.

:goodposting: What exactly is a strike? IMHO, if Goodell sits on his hands on this, because Vick sells tickets, then he will undo the good that he has done thus far as Commish!

First off Im not a Vick hater, He was my fantasy QB last year and my best player. LOL at you, because last time I check Pacman wasn't charged with anything, beating strippers and hangin with gunmen are at worst semi-illegal. Vick was caught (yes not charged) with illegal narcotics and now a dog fighting ring. I think you can compare him with Mr.Jones. Henry is just sloppier than those two.

you're just saying that because you're a racist blah blah blahlmao @ those classy Vicks and all the apologist Vickheads. Shocking that they chill in the Hampton Roads area, no really.

trade Michael Vick to Oakland for the #1 overall. Not saying that it would happen, but it would make the fans happy in OAK (sell tickets). Then Atlanta could draft Russell at #1 and then either draft LaRon Landry (Saftey LSU) or Jammal Anderson (DE ARK) with their other 1st round pick. I don't see that happening but it would be fun to watch!!!

The Raiders fans should form a mob to get rid of Al Davis if he gave up the first pick for Vick.

I seriously hope that if the Falcons would have the first pick they would take Peterson , they would still need a RB ( because the ones they have on their roster are not NFL starter.

The Raiders would never trade the #1 pick for Vick! Russell has too much potential..Vick has played 7 years and stil is..well..Vick.Maybe their third rd pick.
