Wow, glad I don't live there. Might have made my life a bit harder, being a convicted felon for shoplifting a few packs of 1992 Topps Stadium Club from Benny's when I was a kid.

Well, it'd be one thing if it was Hollywood casino, I live like 5 minutes from there and that's like 30 miles west of Cincy, at most. Belterra is more in the center of the state right off the river. Beats the hell out of me what he was doing in that area though.

He's from Ohio. The casino is 30 minutes from Cinci, and I assume is the closest gambling.

Hollywood is 30 minutes from Cincy, Grand Vic about 45, Belterra like an hour and a half or so.

Did you get the Favre 2nd card? Which is worth more than his 1991 Tooops Stadium Club card, which misspelled his name. The 1992 card also has Favre in a Green Bay uniform.

I think Belterra was busted several years ago for bringing in free hookers for their high rollers. Now they are pressing charges against a NFL Pro-Bowler for lifting a six-pack. My how times have changed.

Hollywood and Grand Vic are definitely much closer, but Belterra is nowhere near 1 1/2 hours away. I will go there from Dayton every once in awhile and it only takes 2 hours from here.Anyway, unless things have changed, Hollywood and Grand Vic always allowed smoking and Belterra did not. It's much nicer than any of the SW Ohio/Northern KY casinos.

Now if he had only yelled profanities at the security officer and had to have been escorted out, then been banned from the casino...THEN the situations may have been the same.At least he has an excuse...he was likely somewhat intoxicated, and STILL managed to treat the officers with respect.

Oh wow, I guess it's a lot closer than what I remember. The only time I went there was when I was living down in Miami still, came up here to visit a friend that just so happened to be down in Cincy the weekend of the Colts/Bengals game when Cincy won the division in 05 and the Colts were still undefeated. I was only 20 then and had an ID and for some reason, remember this drive being much longer than it really was on SR56.

Ironically, thats because it's closer than what it was. Seems ridiculous, but Belterra used to be a pain to get to and now they have an exit off of 71 that takes you over there. Cut down on drive time by quite a bit from Cincy/Dayton.

I did not click on the link Jeff posted (my cpu is running slow), but I did read about it on ESPN this AM and remember some type of verbiage in regards to a "misunderstanding". Anywhere else, I would think it is fishy, but I am wondering whether someone (from the casino) told him to take it and got caught by security and he was covering for the guy. I know, it is a stretch, but (1) he commented himself on it (not via a lawyer or agent) and (2) he seemed pretty confident it would be resolved easily.
