Minnesota at NY Giants (2 Viewers)

I'm sick of Gruden blaming Freeman's lack of time in the offense for his missed passes. He's clearly finding where to throw, he just happens to actually suck at throwing.

Were all the TB receivers 10 feet tall? Freeman is missing every throw by about 4 feet.
Serious question.

Is Freeman just over-excited and putting too much "mustard" on the ball and not enough touch or is this what Freeman is?

Gruden and Tirico keep making it sound like Freeman was foisted upon the Vikings coaching staff against their will. Did the decision to start Freeman tonight come from management?

I haven't watched much of the Vikings this season but I feel like Cassel would give them the best chance to win the 2nd half.

I swear this thread is full of teenagers tonight
If can't discuss Cox on a Fantasy board, where do you propose we do it?In all seriousness guys--how long do you think Cox will last?

What about inside the 20's? Will Coughlin let Cox Finish? Will Cox be pulled out? Does Cox score at all tonight?
There is no way Cox can keep it up for 60 minutes unless he gets some help from modern medicine.

Great game. Both teams appear to be in preseason form.

Hillis makes Jacobs look fast. I'd hate to see how the likes of Ryan Torain, DJ Ware looked in that workout last week.

What is Gruden talking about? Vikings offense is always generic. Why does he fell the need to defend Musgrave?
He's trying to be respectful and classy. I'm sure he's preparing his notes and already thinking about his upcoming interview with the Vikings after the season.

Probably.. Speilman pulls the strings for this team.. knowing speilman he is trying to prove that, although ponder stinks, he doesn't stink this bad and therefore drafting Ponder ahead of Freeman was the smart move.

Not the same draft class.

If for nothing else, these threads are a riot for the Gruden hate; it's almost as if you guys think you actually know more about the game than someone who has been a coach, if not a head coach, in the NFL for longer than some of you may have been on this planet.

It's not like he had the most illustrious career as a head coach, but we are talking about a guy who won a superbowl (which I believe made him the youngest ever to do so) and retired above .500 in both the regular and post season.

You guys are talking about him like he's a flat out idiot, and needs you in his ear to correct him on his football analysis... the #### is wrong with you?

:me-ow:

Musgraves should take that left roll out play and rip it up, burn it, and bury the ashes 2,000 feet under ground. It's the worst play ever.

Isn't ESPN owned by ABC? I don't have ESPN but just realized I am watching on the local CBS affiliate. Odd.

Serious question - how much longer do the giants put up with Randle? The guy ####s up so much, it's incredible.

It's not that he's not knowledgeable - he obviously is - it's more that he spouts out some opinions that are either wide of the target or usually over people's heads. Sorta like Freeman's passes.
