Minnesota at NY Giants (1 Viewer)

Why are they keeping freeman in? He is singlehandedly costing them a w
It's simple. Take the most obvious, common sense decision. Do the complete ####### opposite of that. Congrats, you could get hired to coach the Vikes.
Use some common sense, folks. They are not going to crush his confidence by pulling him in his first start. Nobody expected this to be pretty.
If the were concerned about his confidence they shouldn't have put him out there so quickly especially on a Monday night game with 1% of the playbook... even if Musgrave's playbook is only about 5 pages long.
Thank you.
They already KNOW Ponder is terrible. He's not riding in on a white horse to save your 1-4 season.

You're stuck with Freeman. Embrace him.

I didn't think Freeman could be worse, but he is.

If I'm the Vikings owner I pull up a Greyhound Bus at the gate and let the players ride it all the way home - what a bunch of quitters

Sure was pure genius signing Freeman. He is soooooo much better than Ponder.

Have our first round pick on the defensive line returning kickoffs. It's really brilliant. Really it is. Sometimes stuff doesn't exactly work out.

Gotta give them credit for trying something else. If Ponder is the answer, I don't want to know the question.

And I sure hope all of you guys weren't subjected to a full job performance review after your first day. <_<

opening up a can of worms

I've always liked Gruden, but his inability to be harsh about a player is just wearing old. "Ponder can play in this league" WHAT????

Jesus...you can't throw a pass that high when your WR is crossing inside...gonna get him KILLED

Freeman is terrible and won't work out for the Vikings but what a crappy situation to throw him into. Even if he knew the playbook by heart (trust me, he doesn't) he couldn't possibly have any timing with his receivers. Just horribly managed by Minnesota.

I'm telling you guys the easier he is on bad teams, the more he thinks that the team sucks and will fire their HC, thus opening the door for him.

Wow, Freeman's dumb look of disbelief after every incompletion is already starting to wear on me. Does he always do that?

They must really dislike Ponder and Cassel.

We saw Freeman stink for the last two years in Tampa, with better receivers. I just don't know what they thought would transform Freeman in Minnesota.
