I did not picture simey with an AK-47.Do you live on the Breaking Bad set?
yo mama?Your & that ####### new guy Yo, picks look dangerously close to my list.
swanky. when we were debating rescuing our last alley-cat (RIP Chip) who lived in the parking across the street from us (and Katz's deli... I fought the losing battle to name him Katz's)... I quickly designed a house for him to stay warm as winter approached (if we did't rescue him) that involved a foam cooler. and lots and lots of scarves.Do you live on the Breaking Bad set?

Do you live on the Breaking Bad set?
At the welding place which is directly across from the cat shack (only a gravel road separates them), there are 3 guys living on the property. There was another guy there, but he left town with his dog last week. He came down from Vegas with his cocker spaniel dog, and redid a Corvette, and was living in one of the garages for the last year 1/2. Supposedly he redid someone elses Corvette, and did a bad job, and they want their money back so he split to Florida. Another guy got kicked out of his girlfriend's house so he has been living in one of the pull trailers, which he says has a couch and recliner in it. Another just set up camp in a pop-up camper two weeks ago directly across from the cat shack. He has worked there for years, and I don't know why he is all of a sudden living in a pop-up. I see him every day around 6 oclock walk from the convenience store to his camper with a 12 pack of bud light. Another guy is a former vietnam vet, that worked their years ago, and came back homeless so he lives in the the apartment there, which is actually a storage room that they made into an apartment. He is a recovering alcoholic, and told me last year that he hasn't drank in two years, but I think he is the one that throws the little bottles of a certain cheap wine around the ditches of the gravel road. He told me he is going to head to Georgetown SC as soon as his mother's house finally closes. Someone may have bought it, and he is waiting for it to close. I'll miss him when he goes. He takes care of the cats for me when I'm out of town. One of the owners lives in his RV on the property right now too. It caught on fire last week from a propane tank, but had minimal damage to it. At the end of the gravel road is a dead end and a fence, and on the other side of the fence is the abandoned lumber property (which is for sale) where teenagers go and are up to no good. The welding place has a lot of old cars, boats, trailers, storage buildings, sheet metal, etc. in the back lot.I do own a Smith and Wesson M&P9c.I did not picture simey with an AK-47.Do you live on the Breaking Bad set?
Yep, it's my only league now.Are you still in cover two? I miss the trades we used to do in that war room chat.
Ah, yeah. Now I remember. The peace sign on the face makes me think of MD, for some reason. And then you mentioned Georgetown...but it was SC.North Cackalacky
Is Scott still commish?Yep, it's my only league now.
We do need 2 new owners.
He stepped down but is still in the league. Virginia beaches / pack attack (Tim) took over and I assist. Is Scott still commish?
I rediscovered their albums when researching the international alphabet island draft. They had a bunch of great songs and style to boot. Fun times.3.*.... Hate to Say I Told You So- the Hives
about as pitch-perfect a 3-chord garage/punk song as I've ever heard. also love the video, which captures whatever in the hell is going on there perfectly. also also love the bass solo and bass player attitude during it. and the swedish mustache.
Supply And Demand. OMFUG. What a great band.3.*.... Hate to Say I Told You So- the Hives

seem like they'd be a ton of fun live.Supply And Demand. OMFUG. What a great band.
I think I drafted this in the years draft One can never have enough Al Green.
It's all fun and games til Mr Jerry tears off somebody's Rollie Fingers stacheThere's a cat café near my house where patrons pay $20 to drink tea and play with a dozen cats. If Simey's Cat Shack starts serving tea and the silly SF hipsters migrate to NC, everybody wins.

If you have a family account with Spotify ($15 instead of $10), you can have up to 6 accounts, so that people can play different songs at the same time! Handy with older kids!!lol... had my spotify open here at the office, and all of a sudden it went from litanny-o'-words songs to kidz-bop. 5yo floppinha appears to be home from school.
I'm on free account. so no shared, lots of commercials. yes- only $10-15/month. money I'd rather spend elsewhere. po.If you have a family account with Spotify ($15 instead of $10), you can have up to 6 accounts, so that people can play different songs at the same time! Handy with older kids!!

but it appears that my wife has FINALLY created her own damn account instead of using a playlist on mine. now she just needs to get the kids off of mine and onto hers as well.
Time to rejoin, PIK?Yep, it's my only league now.
We do need 2 new owners.
This was one of the first songs I thought of for this draft.
You are a brave, brave man. I don't know how parents listen to that and not go mental.lol... had my spotify open here at the office, and all of a sudden it went from litanny-o'-words songs to kidz-bop. 5yo floppinha appears to be home from school.
it helps that she sings along. really earnestly. You are a brave, brave man. I don't know how parents listen to that and not go mental.
I was mildly suprised that What Is and What Should Never Be went ahead of it. I was down right SHOCKED Living Loving Maid did. It's so incomplete without Heartbreaker. They need to stay together imo and / should be allowed imo if one of them has six alone. This was one of the first songs I thought of for this draft.
I am an ####### parent - I never even let it be an option. I am with them all the time and I think that would put my sanity over the edge. My son (10) listens to all sorts of stuff now. I always let him pick songs that he liked and created a playlist for him on my itunes. Everything from Iron Maiden to The Who to Micheal Jackson went on there. Still got tired of the same songs over an over, but at least it was stuff I liked to begin with. Now he just wants all the songs that are on his Madden games and all the stuff that are on the WWE pay-per-views.it helps that she sings along. really earnestly.
but even 9yo floppinho has outgrown it, thank the stars.
floppinho, meanwhile is caught between his own crappy pop crap- that closer song for example- and the AC/DC and Sabbath he's playing at school of rock.
I didn't bump the thread much, and I didn't send anyone a link to it. I hated asking for donations, but it was an important thing to me, and so I sucked it up and did it. There were some feral cat haters that chimed in, but I figured that might happen. Thanks for offering...You're just three years too late.I don't remember any thread, may have been busy/on hiatus here at the time, or just missed it, but I too would be happy to contribute to the Cat Shak. I will not be starting my own.
Seriously though, thanks for offer.the wife is with them most of the time. she's an anti-music-nerd nerd. also an anti-film-nerd nerd. and anti-book-nerd nerd. which means she listens to U2 and has the kids listening to pop. it was a losing battle from the start.I am an ####### parent - I never even let it be an option. My 2 year old requests We Will Rock You about 20x a day and sings along to it now too. Also caught her singing along to The Trooper the other day when my son was playing it.![]()
What the hay is "anti-music-nerd nerd. also an anti-film-nerd nerd. and anti-book-nerd nerd".the wife is with them most of the time. she's an anti-music-nerd nerd. also an anti-film-nerd nerd. and anti-book-nerd nerd. which means she listens to U2 and has the kids listening to pop. it was a losing battle from the start.
if it's remotely avant garde- aka, the stuff I like- she hates it. top 40 billboard, top grossing films or oprah book club = wheelhouse. What the hay is "anti-music-nerd nerd. also an anti-film-nerd nerd. and anti-book-nerd nerd".
