MixTape Draft - 6+ word titles. Finish your draft and listen to mixes! (2 Viewers)

My intention is to start the draft timer at 10am est each day.  Since my lazy  butt is behind today, let's say the clock started at 10:30.  Here is where we are:

1. Limp Ditka would technically be OTC, but owes from the weekend still so we will move on.

2. @JZilla  is OTC for 35 more mins

3.  I have Mrs. R's pick

4.  @Mister CIA  can pick for the team at the 4 spot

5.  Me (I will try not to go back to sleep)

So in a few mins Zilla will be off, I will post Mrs. R's pick, notify CIA/OCT team, make my pick and puff puff pass it on to simey.

Here is a first in a FFA music draft... KP picks a country song when he is not forced to (I think we had to pick on in an 80s draft we did?).  I am sure this happens to other people, but I was drinking and sifting through assloads of music last night and stumbled on this one.  Completely forgot about this song and my love of it as a kid (probably a hint of me not paying too much attention to lyrics at an early age too).  Just brought me back so I will add it to the list.  This and the John Denver song picked really hit that sweet spot for me as far as remembering my childhood and the music that my parents played.  A lot of John Denver and Kenny Rogers

7.05:  KENNY ROGERS - RUBY, DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVE TO TOWN

We both took Kenny songs!

Makes me hungry from some chicken

Morning...

So in between fantasy baseball research, storm prep, and taxes, I came upon a nice five word song title, let's call it "Song With Not Enough Words".  No bueno for this draft.  But the artist did release an official single (per Wikipedia) entitled "Live Song With Not Enough Words".

Now, I'm pretty sure that little addition still doesn't let it qualify, but I'll ask anyway.
Personally, I think "live" and "remix" additions to the normal song title are stretching the rules.

Correct.  I addressed this one, and it will draw the penalty flag.

People are free to draft whatever version of a song that they want, but (live) or (remix) at the end of the song title counts for 0 words.

so far my evil plan* is falling into place

LCD Soundsystem

Daft Punk is Playing at My House

The Minutemen

Little Man With a Gun In His Hand

The Hives

Hate to Say I Told You So

Yo La Tengo

* to select songs that have at least 6 words in the title.
I will break the Da Floppi Code before he infiltrates the Spotify mix the Pope zones out to while he's blessing this year's batch of Easter wafers so they aren't changed into something that will bring down the Church and make tanning salons the new centers of human worship. OK, i'm pretty sure The Minutemen are key because they are the most Reatarded band in the draft. Minutemen were Freemasons and most were members of the secret Logum Dei (Logs of God) enclave. Logs......look, Hatchet. Yo tengo...i have....a Hatchet to......turn the Minutemen's logs into a powerful picket fence around the grotesque animals of Montr.....WAIT....hives.....bees are stingy, sticky, really grotesque when you get right down to it. That IT!!! Floppo's daft plan to change the world is to build a good kind of picket fence around the bees of Montreal! Quick - find me a cute French-Canadian girl to run around with so i can stop them! Sounds weird, i know, but i'd hate to say i told you so............

I wondered if it was on anyone's radar.  I can't tell if I'm in danger of having all of my picks sniped or none of them....this draft is a little harder to predict than others, I think.
yeah- I really thought I'd get my top 5 or so decimated... but only the one got sniped, and so far the other picks are waaaaaay off my pick-list.
