MixTape Draft - 6+ word titles. Finish your draft and listen to mixes! (2 Viewers)

will be reading in earnest. need max brain cells for some projects and, when you reach my age, these specialized kinda lists really overamp. think i'll have more fun reacting than reaching here. GL -

I see I've been mentioned but I'm more towards the back end of the draft. Just for clarity. Awesome pick by LD, by the way.

Just FYI, if you didn't post this, I was actually considering doing an entire draft of only their music.  It's definitely doable.
My niece was talking about them and song titles the other day, before this draft even came up in conversation (it actually never did, honestly). I told them (her and another relative) about a certain band that I will indeed be drafting. One guy writes the songs, the other titles it.

I remember when that particular band (oh hell, it's Fall Out Boy - it's already spotlighted) was utterly scorned by most of us in the emo scene. They turned that around.

Did I mention I own a white belt? At 43?  :bag:

Not sure I have ever heard a Fall Out Boy song.
If you watched televised sports in the last three years, you might have heard them.

"Light 'em up up up light 'em up up up light em up up up we're on fire!"

It was the baseball promo song for the playoffs one year. Endless.

But anyway, that's one of the titular giants besides some other bands I'm thinking of.

Sorry!  I didn't know we were starting.  First day back from a week vacay..busy busy..  just one minute

The rightmost column automatically counts the words in the Song Title. Check it to make sure it is correct, if it isn't just overwrite it. The first tab besides the Draft has a total of each number that have been picked.

I will be making a tab with a list of the choices made by each drafter.

My hope is to prevent people from sorting the first sheet, as people usually forget to de-sort it.

If there is something else you want to see, let me know!

Songs selected by artist would be a good tab to have available, to see if a candidate I have identified has already been taken.

Thanks for setting these up.

I can do that. I will wait a bit, since it is not that hard to look thru a round or two.

Just thought of one with a slash "/" basically indicating that it's two songs the band merged into one track, I think we may see a good bit of that sort of thing but my personal policy will be to avoid

Another thought of the slash is a prog-rock type song where the band named the sections of the songs...

Another question is can you include prog-rock songs that have names for the various parts of the lengthy songs (but aren't necessarily Pt1, Pt2, etc)?
Might need an example...
Incredibly long songs, like this...

Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Tarkus (1. Eruption, 2. Stones of Years, 3. Iconoclast, 4. Mass, 5. Manticore, 6. Battlefield, 7. Aquatarkus) 20:35!

yeah.. 2112 type of thing

classic me that I thought of Cinderella before I thought of Elton John's classic..

Medleys - maybe we just need a rule against
