Dude.  We have similar tastes in music, and I know a few of your favorite bands have several songs that qualify. 

I just opened my itunes and scrolled down quick for ideas to start off with.

I have an infinitely large room filled with infinite numbers of monkeys with typewriters.  If the pace of the draft doesn't pick up soon, there will be massive layoffs.

First mistake of project management - not acquiring the infinite budget needed to pay the infinite number of monkey employees.

I don't have too many songs in my draft queue that I'm worried about being sniped---this is one of those.  I seem to recall either NV or Tasker mentioning this particular song as a favorite in our last draft. I almost took this album in that same draft.

I am looking to start this Mix Tape off nice and mellow and will attempt to build it up in energy as it progresses. This song captures that feel perfectly IMO and is one of my favorite Otis songs. Also, I heard it playing in the supermarket last night so I was inspired.

One of the first songs that I thought of when I saw the thread.  Love this rendition (sampled my Beck on Jack-###).  Big fan of the Dylan version too, but might go his way on a different tune.

This was on my shortlist for my first pick.  I don't love it as much as your average Broken Social Scene fan....I think some would list it as their best song....but it's still great.  

My favorite is "7/4", but I've always been a bigger fan of Feist than Emily Haines, so I'm a little biased there.
