Good luck, all!!
Good luck with that. I tried that last night with Perez,Moose and Escobar and got like 8pts.Well, I tried their KC idea in a couple cheap gpps.: J.Rod Desmond Merrifield Arenado Fletcher Harper Trout Orlando Perez
Heavy on LAA as well.
Yep, that's about the usual result I have gotten with that team.Good luck with that. I tried that last night with Perez,Moose and Escobar and got like 8pts.
Only Clevinger/Rodriguez lineup cashed(.50). Straily/Hammel bats scored 105+ but SP was almost negative 5.Raging weasel said:/My SP combos are
Clevinger/Taillon
Clevinger/Rodriguez
Hamels/Valasquez
And Straily/Hammel so I could mini stack Col,Mets, Nats and Atl.
Well, ####. I might have lit my $ on fire since I did it quick and didn't check weather. About the only SPs I thought I would want to target bats against heavily were Mahle, and maybe Sanchez.I like that there are 2 slates today with decent options on both. I think I prefer the early so don't feel obligated to get in bats at Coors.
At SP like Kluber, Stripling,Wacha in that order and Mahle/Montas at the lwer end. The game I want the most action in is Det/Cin but that is the only game with weather issues.
Bats from just about anyone but CWS are probably in play so pick a stud or 2 and work from there. I always play base stealers vs Lester but not sure who that is for LAD.
I completely forgot to look at weather last night, and of course my 3 25cent entries were Milwaukee stacks.Raging weasel said:Kuhl got rained out and bats were cold so another loss. Luckily the pickem filled and I won that to finish up $1 for the day.
Main SE gpp scored a whole 60pts on FD. There I tried the NY pitcher and Didi and a Boston stack.
I put some reserve LUs in b/c there was no Coors game for once, but then saw that.
I think I am focusing on them for the 3max contest, and then using the 25cent LUs for other ideas. I think what I keep butting up against is that I don't love paying 8.5K+ for SPs unless I think they have consistent 50pt+ upside on the night. I think Newcomb is the closest, but I am just not into that top tier. Hell, CC just dropped 48 vs. TB last time they met (and gets a better park shift) and LeBlanc dropped 60 vs. Boston (although gets a negative park shift). I don't know, but I am just leaning more towards saving the 1.5K+ for an upgrade at hitting vs. spending on SP.SP's today; liking Newcomb for Atlanta at home against the Orioles; willing to toss Corbin & even Keuchel into a LU or two. Even like the idea of throwing Zach Eflin into a $.25 LU against the Nats - he's been pretty decent again his last few games and it seems as if the offense, especially Hoskins & Herrera, are coming out of their slumber as well.
Bargain basement: Joc Pederson against the Mets [2.4K], Alex Avila against the Pirates [2.0K], Ehire Adrianza against the Rangers [2.3K], Max Stassi against the Royals [2.3K]. Liking all of these guys and will have all off them in LU's tonight, weather permitting. Good luck tonight!
Happ isn't starting, so I am looking at keeping 3 Cubs, 3 Rockies. Happ was was the same price as Joc and N.Williams, so if I use Rizzo I will look at at one of those instead and if I use Schwarber I can maybe look elsewhere at the UTL. So something like:Right now I have for my holder: Wright Desmond Kipnis Arenado Story Heyward Happ Zobrist Rizzo. Not sure if they all start, but this is a LU that is easy to pivot around with since the SPs are all within a few 100 of each other, Schwarber and Rizzo are similar price, and there are decent 2B options in this range with Kipnis, Descalso, etc..
Yeah, I hate weather days like today. Wanted to use Bieber as an SP2 but bailed due to delay chances. Cubs are again my fav lower owned stack and they have issues too but just going to play and pray. All I can add at this point is, keep an eye on the weather, status of games and have your list of alternates ready that you can pivot to.
A lot of games, but earlier it seemed like he thought Cubs/Cin was one of the safer ones and had it at Yellow, which was a reason I was leaning Cubs vs. Az.All I can add at this point is, keep an eye on the weather, status of games and have your list of alternates ready that you can pivot to.
Good info here. Also of note if you're using Ariz LHBs like I am, Pitt only has their closer available as a lefty from the bullpen. The other one pitched 3 innings last night.

Favorite LU of the night [$1 GPP on FD]:
SP/ Wood, C-1B/ Freeman, 2B/ Dozier, 3B/ Camargo, SS/ Adrianza, OF/ Brantley - Springer - Pederson, UTL/Encarnacion
Another $1 GPP I kinda like, ARI & CLE heavy:
SP/ F. Romero, C-1B/ Goldschmidt, 2B/ Kinsler, 3B/ Lamb, SS/ Lindor, OF/ Brantley - Jay - Calhoun, UTL/ Gomes.
The 2nd LU is one where I decided that I wanted to stack the Indians & the Diamondbacks, fit the other two spots as I could [2 Angels in a decent match-up, I think] and was left with Romero against the Rangers, which isn't great, but, to get the bats I wanted, I think I could have worse. We'll see! Good luck tonight everyone.
I had Wright and Leblanc in same lineup, at least you probably used a Seat stack somewhere. The only high scoring game and only shared I have are the SPs .Well, that didn't take long for Wright to go negative points!
I had a fair deal of these 2, and if I was on DK I probably would have tried them in the same LU too.I had Wright and Leblanc in same lineup, at least you probably used a Seat stack somewhere. The only high scoring game and only shared I have are the SPs .
Bottom lineup started off great and was in top 5 most of the night . Went to bed about 10 it was still 14th but Col/SD bats did little and 141.4 wasn't good enough to cash..25ers
Stripling Peralta with Oak,Mia,SD
Stripling Matz with Votto Bogarts Yelich and random 1offs
Ross Bettis with Bos, Arenado 2 Hou
Peralta Kuhl Yanks and Ariz
Price Peralta with JDmart,Col,SD
Sounds like my night. A few of my LUs in the top 100 most of the night and was up about $30 in the middle of the night and one with Arenado left, but ended up getting caught and ended up just +$2 on the night. Had a lot of Severino, Seager, Yelich, Aguilar, Braun.Bottom lineup started off great and was in top 5 most of the night . Peralta/Kuhl lineup lost Kuhl to injury early and finished with 131+.
3man won by 30+ so up $2.15 on the day.
