/My SP combos are

Clevinger/Taillon

Clevinger/Rodriguez

Hamels/Valasquez

And Straily/Hammel so I could mini stack Col,Mets, Nats and Atl.
Only Clevinger/Rodriguez lineup cashed(.50).  Straily/Hammel bats scored 105+ but SP was almost negative 5.

Really on a cold streak here.  Nothing in the main hit, and the thing that saved the night was a 5player win on one of the night slates.  Had a bit of Atl and 2-3 LUs with Camargo, but the expensive guys pooped out and brought those LUs down.

I like that there are 2 slates today with decent options on both. I think I prefer the early so don't feel obligated to get in bats at Coors.

At SP like Kluber, Stripling,Wacha in that order and Mahle/Montas at the lwer end. The game I want the most action in is Det/Cin but that is the only game with weather issues.

Bats from just about anyone but CWS are probably in play so pick a stud or 2 and work from there. I always play base stealers vs Lester but not sure who that is for LAD.

Well, ####.  I might have lit my $ on fire since I did it quick and didn't check weather.    About the only SPs I thought I would want to target bats against heavily were Mahle, and maybe Sanchez.

I have a SE gpp with Wacha and Atl bats with a mix of others, and a $1 5player with Kluber and a mix of bats with no more than 2 from a team.

For tonight I have a $1SE entry and a couple 25cent entries reserved.  Might try a 3-5player on that slate too, but when I looked this morning it was the same dfsarmy guy in all those contests, so I thought I would try later when some of those filled up and maybe get some different people in them.

The .25ers filled up fast so just have 2 of those and a $1 SE. 3man didn't fill.

Used Kluber in all (kiss of death) paired with Stripling , Wacha and Montas. Played lots of 1 offs and 2man mini stacks other than a 4 man Mia stack in the SE.

Good luck!!

Looks like another losing day unless my Mia stack can score over 60. My lineup with Wacha (inj?) had Lindor, Ramirez and Gennett but other than them only Barnhart had more than 5pts. Freeman Albies Camargo Toscar got like 10 to kill the Stripling lineup.

Montas my 3 Mia guys and 2 oak guys pulled it out and cashed for .50 so only down a buck for the day.

Going double or nothing with a $1 SE as my pickem doesn't look like it will fill.

Loaisiga Kuhl Ramos Bird Torres Rendon Profar Blackmon Nimmo Hicks

Kuhl got rained out and bats were cold so another loss. Luckily the pickem filled and I won that to finish up $1 for the day.
I completely forgot to look at weather last night, and of course my 3 25cent entries were Milwaukee stacks.    Main SE gpp scored a whole 60pts on FD.  There I tried the NY pitcher and Didi and a Boston stack.

I DID check the weather today, and of course the two games that I was interested in the most for hitters are the ones that are the worst looking for rain - Cubs/Cinc, Oak/W.Sox.  :wall:   I put some reserve LUs in b/c there was no Coors game for once, but then saw that.

I don't like 2 game slates, but it's only $1 and it has my team on it, so today I will take a stab on the early slate.  I will try Paxton even though Boston just destroyed him, and try to find some odd bats that might be different on a 2 game slate.

Just a tad below break even.  Early wasn't close, but had some decent ideas on the main slate.   Still very frustrating that 4 of my 7 LUs were LUs with Az + Milw stacks and those still were not good enough for much above 75cents payout.  Silly me for not having the bottom of the order dudes like Avila and Dyson in there...

Today on FD is one that makes me cringe a little because of the lack of stud SP.  I will take a stab because I had Colorado written down anyway, but it's going to be really easy to get them in with the SP pricing.  Right now I am leaning towards not using an SP above 7.2K and looking at names like LaBlanc, Wright, Bieber, Minor, Romero.    If you use them + Arenado/Story/Desmond, there is still about 3K left over per player.  None of the stud pitchers are blowing my hair back right now - Newcomb is probably the closest.

As far as other teams/stacks I wrote down Cubs, Az, Det. LAA and Clev.    Be warned - I am probably playing 1/2 Colorado, and then pivoting off them on a couple LUs, so they might be pooping out tonight.. ;)   I think I am focusing on them for the 3max contest, and then using the 25cent LUs for other ideas.

I lost $1 in a SE gpp and $2 in pickem. I found out too late that Skaggs got scratched and only option was Padres SP who at least got me 15+ and other SP was Godley. I also dodged the hot bats, Goldy,Peralta Ahmed,Cubs lefties and Trout.

On DK today the SP pricing is pretty good, Heaney, Kuechel, Stratton,Leblac, Wright,Bieber. For bats mostly looking at Col,Yanks,Atl,Cubs and Angels.

Hi guys - been a little busy over the last week to be able to chat much. Actually doing this while having lunch and then running back out again, Thrown some stuff out there when I had a few minutes; probably down a few dollars for the week, but, that's the nature of the beast.

SP's today; liking Newcomb for Atlanta at home against the Orioles; willing to toss Corbin & even Keuchel into a LU or two. Even like the idea of throwing Zach Eflin into a $.25 LU against the Nats - he's been pretty decent again his last few games and it seems as if the offense, especially Hoskins & Herrera, are coming out of their slumber as well.

Looking like rain is going to rear it's ugly head again, potentially affecting several games. But all things being equal, I'm really liking the pricing [Fanduel, as it's the only one I play] on Arizona again tonight. Frankly, I'm having a hard time believing their projected total for that game given what they did to Kuhl & Pittsburgh's bullpen last night; Ivan Nova just doesn't make me afraid to trot anybody out there against him. And of course, it goes without saying that we have to have some exposure to the Rockies at home, However, I think I'm also going to stack a LU with some Miami players as well. Jon Gray will strike guys out, but, he's also given up 9 ER's in 11 innings over his last two games.

Bargain basement: Joc Pederson against the Mets [2.4K], Alex Avila against the Pirates [2.0K], Ehire Adrianza against the Rangers [2.3K], Max Stassi against the Royals [2.3K]. Liking all of these guys and will have all off them in LU's tonight, weather permitting. Good luck tonight!

Had 6 .25 GPPs and 1 $1 SE, cashed on 3 of 6 and got $2 in the SE.   Had Tyler Skaggs in one line up with AZ/WAS stack and by time I saw scratch all games had started.  Ended up having to go with MadBum -- that worked out.

Yesterday played into the hands of the multiple lineup folks.  Put in Scherzer and then a bunch of line ups with various cheap guys.  Lot of cheap guys had great games so one of the multiple lineups was bound to hit on most/all of the cheap hitters.

Today I am going to keep riding Cole Kalhoun -- since coming back he has been on fire.  And Arenado has been crazy at home.

Going to keep riding the Steven Wright train (apologies for going against SEA)

I think what I keep butting up against is that I don't love paying 8.5K+ for SPs unless I think they have consistent 50pt+ upside on the night.   I think Newcomb is the closest, but I am just not into that top tier.   Hell, CC just dropped 48 vs. TB last time they met (and gets a better park shift) and LeBlanc dropped 60 vs. Boston (although gets a negative park shift).   I don't know, but I am just leaning more towards saving the 1.5K+ for an upgrade at hitting vs. spending on SP.

I like your cheap calls and had a few of them written down.  I also had:

Nick Williams (2.4):  He is always cheap and I look at him if there is a RHP on the mound.

D.Travis (2.3):  I look to the bottom of the order Toronto guys a bit, mainly Travis vs. LHP and Grichuk vs. RHP.

Not quite as cheap, but <3K options I also had down:

Meadows (2.8k).   I noticed that Corbin was giving up ISO in the L-L matchup (.200) and almost 40% hard contact vs. LHBs, and this year is a small sample size Meadows has a +.500 wOBA and ISO vs. LHP.

Castellanos (2.9).  He either gets 30 or 3, but that's what gpps are for.  Just think he's too good to be <3K.

Chisenhall (2.6)

Happ (2.4), Zobrist (2.5), and Heyward(2.6) are all cheap and Castillo is giving up .379wOBA and .255ISO to LHBs on the year.   Right now I am strongly leaning towards 4Cubs + 3 Rockies and see what that leaves me for SP and last option at 2B.  Cubs LHBs would eat up 3 OF and either 1B or Utl (could use Rizzo or Schwarber), Rockies would be 3B/SS and 1B/Utl.

Right now I have for my holder:  Wright Desmond Kipnis Arenado Story Heyward Happ Zobrist Rizzo. Not sure if they all start, but this is a LU that is easy to pivot around with since the SPs are all within a few 100 of each other, Schwarber and Rizzo are similar price, and there are decent 2B options in this range with Kipnis, Descalso, etc..

Happ isn't starting, so I am looking at keeping 3 Cubs, 3 Rockies.  Happ was was the same price as Joc and N.Williams, so if I use Rizzo I will look at at one of those instead and if I use Schwarber I can maybe look elsewhere at the UTL.  So something like:

Wright Desmond Kipnis Arenado Story Heyward Zobrist Joc P Rizzo

or

Wright Desmond D.Travis Arenado Story Heyward Zobrist Schwarber   w/ 3.5K left at UTL

??

All I can add at this point is, keep an eye on the weather, status of games and have your list of alternates ready that you can pivot to.
Yeah, I hate weather days like today. Wanted to use Bieber as an SP2 but bailed due to delay chances. Cubs are again my fav lower owned stack and they have issues too but just going to play and pray.

Also of note if you're using Ariz LHBs like I am, Pitt only has their closer available as a lefty from the bullpen. The other one pitched 3 innings last night.

A lot of games, but earlier it seemed like he thought Cubs/Cin was one of the safer ones and had it at Yellow, which was a reason I was leaning Cubs vs. Az.

Wash, Clev, Pitts they had flagged as being worse, but I have thought that before.

6 .25 GPP and 1 $1 SE.  5 Wright, 1 Heaney, and 1 Beiber

More concentrated line ups than usual.  LAA/COL in most lineups.   Pederson/Calhoun/Kiermaier in a few outfields -- all very cheap.  Some HOU spread in and Dozier.

Hopefully not much happens in the weather games because I just avoided them.

Good luck all.

Favorite LU of the night [$1 GPP on FD]:

SP/ Wood, C-1B/ Freeman, 2B/ Dozier, 3B/ Camargo, SS/ Adrianza, OF/ Brantley - Springer - Pederson, UTL/Encarnacion

Another $1 GPP I kinda like, ARI & CLE heavy:

SP/ F. Romero, C-1B/ Goldschmidt, 2B/ Kinsler, 3B/ Lamb, SS/ Lindor, OF/ Brantley - Jay - Calhoun, UTL/ Gomes.

The 2nd LU is one where I decided that I wanted to stack the Indians & the Diamondbacks, fit the other two spots as I could [2 Angels in a decent match-up, I think] and was left with Romero against the Rangers, which isn't great, but, to get the bats I wanted, I think I could have worse. We'll see! Good luck tonight everyone.

   Good Luck!

Here is what I have for a couple:

3 Colo + Cubs:  Bieber Desmond D.Travis Arenado Story Heyward Zobrist Schwarber Rizzo

LAA +  2 Colo:   Wright Desmond Kinsler Valbuena Story Trout Upton Duvall Stassi

Looking like Wash/Philly, Pitt/Arizona & CHC/Cinncy should be good to get started and play for a little while; Det/Clev looks like it will be delayed but may get the game in later.

** Looking like Bal/Atl may have some in-game delays possible as well. **

I had Wright and Leblanc in same lineup, at least you probably used a Seat stack somewhere. The only high scoring game and only shared I have are the SPs .
I had a fair deal of these 2, and if I was on DK I probably would have tried them in the same LU too.

I do have 2 Seattle stacks.  One had LeBlanc and AZ, so yeah.  The other is currently the only LU of mine that is cashing.  Sitting around 150pts with 0s from Freeman, Flowers, and K.Seager.  I used Newcomb in that one, and have Gordon/Seager/Cruz/Haniger for my stack.

What a horrible night, glad I only played  25ers. 5 lineups and only 1 broke 100(Phil,Atl,Ariz) and worst was 32 where my Col guys scored 40+, 5 Cubs got me 12ish and Wright/Leblanc at SP lost over 20.

Didn't do anything for the early stuff, and just put in 4 25cent gpps for the night.  Did 3 seattle/bost game stacks - 2 with McCullers, one DeGrom.  Then one a tort/La game stack.

RG has their premium stuff for free this week if anybody is playing.

Seems like the temps and scoring are heating up.  I took a shot on the big $5 gpp yesterday, got excited my team scored about 215, then saw it was a near min-cash placement for $12 as scores were in the 300s.  Yikes.

Seattle is in Balt now, so I will just be firing cheap stacks of them for that series.

Didn't have much down time at work and got shanghaied by my wife after so not much research into these just guys I think are in good spots+ whoever I could afford.

Freeroll and .25

Verlander Snell Ramos Morales Pirela Villanueva Camargo Chisenhall Williams Gomez

.25

Lugo Hernandez Gomes Bird Gordon Ramirez Lindor Stanton Gardner Mazara

$1 SE gpp

Clevinger Taillion Ellis Freeman Robertson Seager Hechavarria Cruz Bellanger Santana

All my expensive guys tanked yesterday so lost the whole $1.50. Not sure replacing Verlander and Clevinger would've helped me much as I just would've spent it on more bats that didn't come thru other than Albies.

Once again I will spend down at SP today and load up on bats from Hou,Col,Oak and Bos.

Does the strategy change at all as it gets hot and more teams are scoring a bunch?  Small sample size, but it just feels like a month or so on the big slates, there would just be 1-2 teams that got 8+ runs, so you needed to probably load up on those teams.  Not it feels like 6+ teams are doing that, so does that mean that mixing and matching and HR hunting becomes even more important?

Anyway - tonight I am trying 3 in the 3max, and 8 25cent LUs on FD.    In the 3 max, I am leaning towards Severino in all but might throw Stripling in one.  The Tex/SD game has upside and cheap bats, so I think I am using that for 2B and SS and HR with Color, Seattle, Milw, Houst, Atl, etc.. and not having more than 2 bats from a team in a LU.  Here is my current placeholder:

Severino Aguilar Pirela Arenado K.Hernandez Braun Pinder Haniger Turner.   Saw that the ump for the Cubs/LaD game is very P friendly, so might not use those guys now, or not both we will see.  Thought about Galvis at SS to free up even more for the Utl too.

The 25cent gpps I might stack a little bit more.

.25ers

Stripling Peralta with Oak,Mia,SD

Stripling Matz with Votto Bogarts Yelich and random 1offs

Ross Bettis with Bos, Arenado 2 Hou

Peralta Kuhl Yanks and Ariz

Price Peralta with JDmart,Col,SD

Bottom lineup started off great and was in top 5 most of the night . Went to bed about 10 it was still 14th but Col/SD bats did little and 141.4 wasn't good enough to cash.

Peralta/Kuhl lineup lost Kuhl to injury early and finished with 131+.

3man won by 30+ so up $2.15 on the day.

Sounds like my night.  A few of my LUs in the top 100 most of the night and was up about $30 in the middle of the night and one with Arenado left, but ended up getting caught and ended up just +$2 on the night.  Had a lot of Severino, Seager, Yelich, Aguilar, Braun.

Have a couple in for the small early slate, but really don't like the SPs on the night slate, so just going to throw 3-4 25cent entries together for the main slate.

Kuechel tanked my gpp but won the 3man so up $.70 early.

Doing a $2 3man pickem and 2 .25ers.

Gibson/Bieber with mostly Twins/Angels

Nova/Minor with Goldy,Yanks/Seat

3 for 3 on my early slate 3 max gpp, so up $7 for the day.

If course b/c of that I put in a few more tonight, so I have 8 25cent entries.  I think I did Bum, LeBlanc, and Eflin and focused on Seattle, oak, min, az.

For gpp purposes I think any SP vs. New York that has a +10% swinging K rate is viable.  I liked Eflin the best tonight, but talked myself out of it b/c it's always scary rostering SPs vs. NY.  I think it's worked more times than not when I have tried it this year though.   They are always low owned too.

My 2 gpps scored a combined 142+ with Minor and Seager scoring 55.15 of that--nuf said. Did win the 3man so up another $2.90.

Both slates today are hot garbage for SP at least on DK so just doing 3man pickems today.
