MNF **Buffalo Bills at New York Jets** +2, 44.5 (1 Viewer)

I watched hard Knocks last season and picked The Lions in September and October every game. I believe they started 1-6.
I watched Hard Knocks this season and left feeling The Jets might go undefeated. Then I remembered what happen last season.
So I'm drinking the Kool-Aid again but with the thought they may start 1-6. But if they do I think this is the 1,so...

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets- 30
Bills Mafia- 23

Man, that schedule.

Hoping for an anti-Outkast outing.

What?

I know you'd like to think your **** don't stank
But lean a little closer see
Roses really smell like bo poo-poo

Jets 24
Bills 23

I think this will be a higher scoring game than people are expecting.

Last season was 20-17 and 20-12. I'm betting both teams top 20 points tonight. Think a healthy Gabe Davis and Dalton Kincaid make the Bills passing game much tougher to defend than last season, and obviously Rodgers>Wilson/White.

I'll say Bills win 31-20, but it feels closer than the score.

It could be. It's not too hard to score in the NFL these days. But I think the Jets offense won't have improved quite as much as people think and their defense is actually sort of dramatically better than last year. Like Dallas-esque with their waves of pressure.

We'll see.

Its possible. I think all offseason people have been underrating the Bills offense. Its just such a dramatic difference from pre-Allen elbow injury to post, that I think people don't realize he was running away with league MVP up to that point. It was like roughly a 100 yard per game difference in the Bills offense.

I can't imagine the defense has improved in NY more than the offense has. I mean, they went from maybe the worst QB in the NFL to possibly a top-5 guy.

This was the game I was most looking forward to on the schedule this week after Bengals/Browns, which actually went kinda close (not the extent it did, but Bengals underachieving) to what I expected.

You might be forgetting that the Jets caused that injury at the end of their win last year. That's when they got to his elbow. I think it was the pass to Gabe Davis at the end of the game. The players who were hurt on Buffalo at that point played defense. Trust me on this that it was the Jets that hurt him, though. I'm almost positive of that.

I'm right about the end, maybe not the Gabe Davis. Here's the citation.

They lost Corey Davis, who was a fixture at WR2, and they also have essentially lost Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook for Week One if we're talking about full-strength players. So it's easy to think why I'm saying their offense hasn't improved as much as people think. If Breece is fully healthy with no restrictions, then I recant, but I don't think he is.

For Miami fans after yesterday's victory, scouting both of these teams tonight should be on the priority list.
Kind of fun to have it served up in Primetime on MNF
Think both offenses will have challenges at different points in the game.

This is so much better than the one o'clock Sunday threads that would sink to the bottom of Page Two in previous years for the Jets.

"Defense don't need a preseason," they say. Let's hope that's true, because the Jets pretty much sat all their guys all preseason on defense. Think they played against the Giants for a series or two. Maybe.
Well, if they stared down the Giants' prolific offense, then you have nothing to worry about. ;)

Should be a fun game.

What you can bet is that both fan bases and all the national media will overreact based on tonight’s game.

I think both teams are very good and that, while the outcome matters a lot for helping win the division, it’s a long season and tonight is just one game.

Unless the Bills win, then the Bills are winning the Super Bowl and the Jets/Aaron Rodgers are trash.

jets played the bills last year without breece hall in either game and with mike white and hack wilson. jets have no home field advantage and awful history of jetting. allen struggled last year vs jets. if the jets plan on doing anything this year, they have to come out and establish a home field and an identity.
21-16 jets….think the jets d line gives allen some problems tonite.
