Monday Night Football **The World Champion Los Angeles Rams take on the Green Bay Packers** (-7.5, 39.5) (1 Viewer)

Rams and Packers. Two storied franchises not writing much of a story this season. Is Baker The Messiah for the struggling Rams? Or was he just the beneficiary of one of the worst coached teams in the league? Is Aaron playing his final snaps in Titletown? Will he be on the west coast next year? I heard the mushrooms are a much higher quality than in Green Bay. Will The Frozen Tundra be frozen tonight? So may questions,so few answers. The game...

Packers- 27
Rams- 17

Footballguys has Watson with a very good prediction. Is he not going to be on Ramsey? Seems like everyone is just banking on his TDs to continue with potential low receiving yards.

Watson has been bona fide. Does Ramsey follow him and what does that mean? I don't honestly know. Buckle your chin strap, should be a good one for fantasy.

This is the Rams coldest game since the 90s. I can easily see that causing them to come out a little cold, for lack of a better word.

I'll say Packers 27, Rams 14.

I think Ramsey locks onto Watson and slows him down a lot. Not saying he'll do nothing, but I think he'll be well short of his bigger games. I think GB grinds out the running game against a banged up Rams front and waits for the Rams offense (Baker) to make mistakes. This feels like a decent Rodgers week where he spreads it around, and the running game probably gets the TDs. First TD bet, I'll say AJ Dillon.

World champion rams. Lol.
Not for much longer.
They are the World Champions until February
I do it on purpose just to honor the fact they did win a ring.

I always say this but ask the Bucs if they are truly feeling anger or hostility about where they are now on the Brady Arc? They won a Lombardi Trophy in Feb'21, they're still rejoicing.
Ask the Rams how they feel right now with few draft prospects and a team that needs to be revamped going forward? Hello, they won a Super Bowl 10 months ago and they should still be honored and respected for doing it.

I doubt the Eagles ownership and front office lost a lot of sleep in the first couple seasons after they won a Lombardi with a back up QB, there's no asterisk next to their title.
And you're a big Eagles fan and I know you just want to taste the winner's circle again.

He's due for a letdown
8 TDs in 4-5 games?
They often don't even target him until they are in a hole
Rodgers talks up guys like Sammy Watkins and Randal Cobb, one of them was waived this week.

The rams have had about the worst title defense I can remember. They were out of the race super early

In the Rams defense, they lost Stafford, Kupp, and Donald about halfway through the season. Arguably their 3 best players, and at the very least 3 of the top-5.

If say, KC lost Mahomes, Kelce, Jones or Cincy lost Burrow, Chase, Hendrickson or Buffalo lost Allen, Diggs, Miller, I don't think any of those teams would be playoff teams.

Now the Rams weren't doing great before those injuries, but I think they could have certainly turned it around, especially in the NFC where its likely a 9-8 team makes the playoffs.

Good. I've had about enough of both of them. Maybe the winner can get eliminated next week.

Rodgers, Stafford and Brady are on the way out.

Brady should have stay retired, like Emmitt Smith he stayed on one season too long. Rodgers looks like he is aging as we watch, a little slower dodging the rush, horrible body language like he does not want to be there. Stafford is banged up, couple more concussions. I know he said before he probably had 10 or more before the protocol, and now he might need Tommy John. Stafford will be 35 next year but his body is in the 40s. But Kelly will let McVeigh know if he is ready.

Just realized that McVay has now had 3 former first overall picks as starting QBs.

Goff
Stafford
Mayfield

The problem I have with PI is that OPI never gets called; I feel as a defender is if the offensive player initiates the contact, you should have the right to grab back. Watson clearly initiated by grabbing 1st, but did Ramsey's grab go above what Watson did?

Also yeah, I felt that with no Aaron Donald maybe you keep pounding the rock on the rams and maybe not test their best CB.
