Monday Night Thread: Cowboys vs. the Giants (1 Viewer)

was it Madden or Dierdorf who once said, I think from the MNF booth, "You only go for two when you have to."

 
This game is really making me glad I stayed up to watch it.Lets make it close.And god willing, cover the spread!

 
Cool, sorta. I'm a Cowboy fan (since 1972), but Toomer's TD helps (that pass int earlier still chaffs my ###), but another TD by Toomer or Hambrick makes me 2-0.Let's go Troy!

 
Its possible the Giants can cover.........GOOOOOOO GIANTS!!!!!!!

Yea but they're going to need a defensive score, which isn't out of the question, but highly unlikely. There's no way they score 2 offensive TDs with 5 minutes left. At the best they'll score a TD and then just run the clock out, we lose by .5

that ref better have a good escape route out of the stadium, after the way he faked the Giant fans out on that challenge he's a deadman for sure

Giants WR makes a tiptoe catch, landing out of bounds but with his feet inbounds. It was challenged because he dropped the ball when he hit the ground and it was ruled incomplete. The Giants challenged it and after reviewing the play the ref comes out with this..."After reviewing the play the receiver did come down with both feet in bounds {crowd erupts into a huge cheer} but he did not have full possesion of the ball as he hit the ground, therefore the pass was incomplete {booooooooo}""Would have been about a 30 yard gain.

WOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCollins/Toomer in 1 league. Collins against Ike in another Looks OK for the moment.2-0 in 2 leagues and 1-1 in the other, fine with me right now.

 
That first down play shows how much faith Fassel has in his FG unit. It was a stupid call otherwise.
