My son just got served and now it's on (1 Viewer)

Can you erase your post and make up a story? Those of us that already read it will pretend that wasn't the outcome and the newcomers will think it is authentic.

KITTEN FIGHT!!!!!

I finally got home about an hour ago and quietly took my son out back to find out how everything went. Turns out my son offered a quiet apology, the other kid said cool and offered one of his own and that was that. I'm proud of my son for seeking the other kid out at recess and for taking charge of the situation. He was nervous this morning but he insisted he was okay. And to reiterate, the other kid isn't known as bully or anything, it was just two kids messing with one another. It happens. Thank god cooler heads prevailed.

As for the rest of you blood thirsty mongrels- chill out! I had a busy afternoon even without access to fbg and I couldn't tell my boss to hold on while I typed out a response quez, tbell and the gang. sheesh
You suck at Friday threads.
 I thought about sprucing it up a bit but I'm too tired to think right now.

FYP. See what I did? Already more interesting.
She asked why I hadn't shown up for the hotel rendezvous.
"no matter" she blurted as she unbuttoned her tight blouse.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.

She wanted to talk to me about my "bad boy"

Good to hear, glad it went well. I still harbor feeling about fights that happened 30 years ago. But only the ones I lost.

This is where the alcy who bangs his aunt should take over.

Good result. That's a mature way to handle it. The key in these things is handling it 1-1. Most things can be worked out this way. It's when the other kids get involved that things get out of hand. I remember in 9th grade, my friend got 2 best friends to fight each other over nothing. He just kept pushing them and then the rumors started and the kids started talking. They beat each other's asses basically because people pressured them into it.

Ya, and I caught #### for suggesting the very thing that ended up happening which is what should have happened from the start.

Y'all can F off.

For someone that doesn't seem to like the idea of fighting, I'm finding it odd that you're looking to do exactly that.

Lol,what ever happened with that?

:lmao: at this thread

Glad your kid made a wise choice, Dutch. Although the thread could have been a whole lot better if he hadn't.

Ohh... I like conflict just fine. Thrive on it actually. I'm not one to take it to physical altercation though. Not worth it.

Ya, that's it. You got me. I don't care to fight. I win with words. You're no different.

Yeah I don't like to fight either but I also do not "thrive on conflict".

Yeah I don't like to fight either but I also do not "thrive on conflict".
By thrive, I mean that it gets me going. I do my best when there is conflict involved. I work in a field where there is a natural adversarial quality to the work and I do my best work the more adversarial it gets. And then when people who don't know me start calling me a ##### because I'm not a fan of fistfights, ya I get pissed. Wouldn't you?

what kind of work do you do?

Anyways this is a feel good story. Thanks for sharing. Nice to see 2 kids display more responsibility than many adults.
As a teacher, this has been much of my experience lately. Kids are a lot more mature and responsible than people give them credit for. For every dumb Vine or Tweet or Youtube, there are so many examples of kids displaying incredible maturity. I know some call this a generation of wusses. I think they are just plain wrong. The kids I know are tough as hell, but see the bigger picture.
