what exactly is happening here? there's a display bug in that scenario, or it's reporting no leagues? if latter try logging out, back in. soon we will have this new functionality in mobile app and that'll be the preferred way to access on ios.

lost from your device; not from the servers. all your leagues are saved offline on your device/browser. that's what it's referring to.

Not sure what the issue is. I click my leagues and there are none there. I click logout and nothing happens. I try to click on sync and nothing happens either. My leagues so show up in the app though and on desktop.
Firefox 44.0.2 I assume it is because the site is just sooooooooo slow. I assume that my browser is set so that a script that is running for 20 seconds with no response throws up the warning. Unfortunately, stopping either stopping the script or allowing it to run are both bad options. The main problem is not the error message, the real problem is that the page is taking so long to load in the first place.
Clearly something bad seems to be happening in your code between these 2 points. 14.5 seconds between these 2 gets. This is on loading the news.

Agree with the slow load times. The loading button appears for over 10 seconds when I open the app.

Why are the projections for the same person (Dodds for example) on the main page different than those in my.footballguys?
Yeah, i dont have any weird scoring but the rankings are all over the place. How do i see the ADP and why wont it draft accordingly when its supposed to?

Wish one of these guys would address the issues. Seems a lot of guys want the old functionality while the new stuff is still being debugged and coded.

At least you guys are getting some info out of this. I cant get anything to work but the articles. Does this not support windows 10 or edge? I tried to sync a league and since then nothing will happen. Just the downloading/in progress icon that never leaves.
Good point. I can't remember the last email or communication exclusively to subscribers. Even if simply lip service, sure would be nice to hear once in awhile how much we're loved and how hard they're working to improve on some admitted problems. They hint at it occasionally in the free email, but almost in a way to try and entice non-subscribers to get on board.

I am a non subscriber. I have to admit that I was very much leaning towards subscribing this season for a few reasons. The most major reason being that I am trying to scale back in the amount of time that I invest in fantasy sports. I have done far less research this season than I have in the past--so I was thinking I would subscribe to help manage my time this season while still giving me a chance to keep my teams competitive. Reading through this thread has made me decide that I don't want to subscribe. I see a group of subscribers basically being used as Guinea pigs for a changes in a program. Last time I checked--companies are supposed to pay people to Beta test their products--not the other way around.
I have to give props to the patience of the subscribers that are acting as beta testers--for not showing the anger of being completely taken advantage of. I'd have a hard time swallowing that pill. I also have to give props to the the FBG development staff (namely Simon) who seems to be spending time addressing every post and concern that he can. I do agree that it is strange that none of the main staff (DD, JB..etc) has taken any time to comment on this thread. To me--it makes far more sense for a guy like Simon to skim over this thread and work on all of the things that the subscribers are mentioning without having to spend the time to reply to each and every one. Seems like that would just take valuable time away from him actually working on the fixes. I'd think that JB/DD each spending 15-30 minutes a day replying to posts/ideas on this thread would show subscribers that they actually care, while probably giving Simon another 2-3 hours a day to actually work on these fixes.

try in firefox v 48 perhaps? It's always sensible to try to stay up to date with browser versions for security reasons. I think I've advised that you email Keith on this one previously as he can help with responsiveness issues.

is there an issue this morning with the personalized rankings pulling roster data? I seem to have lost this functionality today and all players show as free agents.

In my case I paid for a three year subscription. That is up after this season. After this it will be a real question if I resubscribe. The primary reason I subscribed was for Draft Dominator and the MyFootballguays page. Now we have to pay separately for DD and the MyFBG functionality has gone backwards at best.

I just wanted to commend FBG on the work they are doing here. Yes, the changes are alot for some of us who were used to the old apps and used them for years. We want it to just work and dont want to have to learn something new at the last minute. But lets give them credit for doing their best to improve upon their service. The fact that their devs are active on the boards and accepting and acting on our feedback is a great sign and something that most companies simply do not do. So, i just wanted to say thanks for the good work and i look forward to seeing the improvements over the coming days/weeks/months.

Can we have Bench players added to the Lineup Coach? If Brady is projected for 22.2 I'd like to see what my bench QB's are projected for.

How does that relate to 'EDP'?
Running the mock draft, i have all the other teams set to draft by ADP. I havent super dug into it yet, mostly because Tyrod Taylor keeps going in the 3rd round (his EDP says 31) so he's being drafted with about 15 QBs with higher ADPs ahead of him. I guess i dont understand if this EDP number is being used as the autodraft ADP decider, and where that number is coming from in the first place.
Im having trouble getting passed that to figure if the rest of the draft is going to be wonky.
DD is still included in the subscription. You only have to pay separately for mobile; this has never been included there.
this sounds like a Draft Dominator issue. Trying to concentrate on MyFootballguys stuff here. apps@footballguys.com best place for customized help there.
Click on "QB" to the left of Brady and it'll list all your QBs and Free Agent QBs together.
We will add opponent data into lineup coach at some point during the season. They'll be a trade tool too.

I've complemented the devs and sympathized with their position in all my posts. However, that doesn't mean we should be happy with the state of the app and the decision not to turn on the old MYFBG app. It would be one thing if the new app worked and it was just a different interface that people needed to getting used to. Many people are seeing differences in the data and aren't feeling comfortable that the data itself is accurate. I'm still amazed that this is moving forward and the old working app is not being run in parallel.I just wanted to commend FBG on the work they are doing here. Upgrading browser to 48 is not a great solution for me. My version isn't that old. Who is Keith? You may have told somebody else to email him, but it was not me. post his contact info. Thanks. BTW, V44.02 is only 6 months old

They should absolutely turn the old MYFBG pages back on. The new site even if it worked, and it is very far from working, offers nothing over the old site. Furthermore, the new site's design is clunky to use and incredibly slow. If you think the site is crappy now, just wait until a large number of users try to use it simultaneously.
The changes seem to be purely focused on appearance, form over substance. Perhaps FBG is trying to lure a buyer and wants a more modern look to the site. It certainly seems like aesthetics have been prioritized at the expense of usefulness.
If MYFBG is the primary or major factor in using the site, I would seriously hold off on subscribing.
If they were doing their best to improve the service, management would have planned this better. The coding would have begun a year ago. I would have been better tested. It seems as if management/ownership is in over their heads with regard to doing an IT project. I am not a guy that slams FBG, I have paid my money for years, and frankly, always thought that the DD and contest was worth the money alone. I have also come into a LOT of these threads in the past, and defended them. And frankly, the money is peanuts. If the amount of money is a problem, stop playing fantasy football.
There is a LOT of free info out there, so if you are charging a fee for something, there are expectations. My issue isn't the money, it's that I am used to using FBG subscription services. It's freaking late August, MyFBG is down in late August. I'm only in 4 leagues, so this isn't a death sentence for me, but for people in 10+, I cannot imagine what it's like if you cannot trust this app to not work properly.
I've been subscribing for a long time, and a lot of complaints I used to poo-poo are starting to hit home to me. Lot of content dragging, lots of what looks like complacency to me.
Actually, what it looks like is lack of young blood. Lack of young hunger, guys getting older, and letting stuff slide. I'm reading IDP articles, and reading comments like, yeah, couldn't get to this division, sorry about that.
That's amazing, really.

Im not saying you should be happy with it. The app is new and still needs work. But they are working on it. So the more feedback they get the better it will be. The old app looks to be working to me btw.
Oh it definitely could have been planned/communicated better. But i haven't found any deal breakers that have prevented me from conducting my draft and preseason duties thus far. Maybe i'm not a power users like some of you guys though. But to me it seems they are trying their best.

I don't think anyone is saying that they aren't trying. It's just that something that is this big of an overhaul should have 1) Been done awhile ago and/or 2) At least been tested before being rolled out to the masses. That's what has people the most upset.But to me it seems they are trying their best.
It's one thing if the UI was changed and we just had to get used to stuff being organized differently and looking different. We can get used to that if it all works as it's supposed to. We're what, 5 days or so into the new MyFBGs and people are still having issues.
I'm not blaming Simon and the rest of them, but it seems like their time would be better spent fixing stuff instead of having to come in here constantly and ask us if things are working correctly. I've been using FBGs for the last 4 years (3 as a paying subscriber) and this is by far the worst experience I've had with them. My FBGs has been a huge part of why I've continued to subscribe. If it's going to be a disaster for most of the season, it'll be hard for me to justify coming back for next season.

Maybe if that were the only problem with the site. Unfortunately it is not the only problem.

Was that available last year at this time? I dont recall being able to do things like show my roster and highlight players or get a top 200 last year either before week one. Which is why i was pleasantly surprised to get that capability in the new app.
What other critical stuff from the old myfbg is missing in the new app?

Definitely was able to see my roster compared with other teams' after the draft. No, the Top 200 Forward wasn't available until after Week 1, but it's the same for the new version as well.

Agreed. The new stuff has a lot of potential but it isn't there yet IMO. I consider myself a power used of DD and there's too many key elements missing (i.e. custom ADP, custom look ahead, etc). When you couple that with the unease I have with the data values it's a deal breaker.
I'm not afraid of change but I am afraid of changing for something new that I think has less functionality that wasn't fully tested ahead of the season's start.

i liked the changes to DD and found it much easier to use on my laptop during my draft.
but myFBG is a huge step backwards. my main use case is going on there to:
1. optimize lineup - this seems like it will still work
2. see value of waiver wire options - this does not appear to work with exception of i use inserting a ww guy into your optimal lineu
maybe waiver wire report it not live yet until the season starts?

Just curious, you prefer not being able to customize what windows you see and prefer not being able to customize the layout, prefer only a limited amount of info on the screen, prefer not being able to customize your projections in the vbd spreadsheet or projections dominator?

i am a non-power user of DD and found no info i needed lacking. i found it every easy to toggle between the different elements that i wanted to see during my live draft. i liked the ease of one click draft selection in the bottom right corner just searching for a guy and clicking draft. i found it easier to roll back when i missed a pick or swap out a selection. i thought the draft board was easier to get to and use. the filtering ux is far better to filter player positions and teams. the watch list was super easy & helpful.
to me this version is addition by subtraction.
that said, as someone who has worked in product development, i'm not a fan of removing functionality. i think you can simplify the default but you should allow for other features to be turned on for advanced users.
but for me, i quite enjoyed the vastly improved ui/ux and found no functionality missing. this was a much much better live draft experience for me than the old DD which suffered from analysis paralysis with too much data displayed at once.
