Seriously I tried the roll site using my gmail account (not for this league, obvs my roll is 720 or whatever) next time you check the ruthroll address can you see if it's in there so we avoid this unpleasantness in the future)?

I wanted to see if it was my yahoo email that was causing problems or if I'm just really stupid about everything.

Let this be a lesson to those who would see Tim banished from this board. Without the Tim buffer, even best of friends can turn on each other over something as ####### stupid as a random number generator.

 
Since this is somehow partly my fault, I'll propose a solution:

1. I'll temporarily take a 2nd team to fill the league. If someone else shows up and wants to join, they can have it.

2. If it helps I'll take Frostroll for my 2nd team since I already have one good roll... and that roll was sent to me and not Frosty.

3. TRE and Frost go grab some beers together and watch the Gophers win the Little Brown Jug this weekend.

4. Somebody PM that wbaaoz guy and get him to come roll.

5. We f'n draft already.

Oh, and if we're starting as soon as tomorrow as may be the case, I'm going to be mostly out of pocket until Tuesday. Peeps have my number and can text me when I'm up, but I'll need someone on the google doc front to keep this thing moving.

 
I'd have more availability if we started Monday. Can't promise I'll be able to check in much Fri/Sat/Sun.

whoah woah woah guys... I know we're all excited about Bynum, but I need to do my due diligence before making the pick, there is a LOT of pressure here!

Are we re-picking teams for this go 'round? If so I want the Spurs.

Jeez, so hostile and we haven't even started yet! Never mind, for some reason I thought we assigned NBA team names to the teams we drafted last year, but that was a different league.

I'll re-pick if Woz Jr manages to roll a 1 or a 2 :whistle:

I doubt there is going to be a 24th owner, go ahead and pick. Once we get close to the 24th pick we can have somebody take on two teams if nobody takes it, if somebody does take it, I think they are stuck with the 24th pick anyways.

I was hoping for Chris Paul myself, mainly so I could destroy a more immediate threat to the Lakers in their own division with my powers of gooch. And if Paul somehow managed to shrug off the gooch - well he's pretty ####### cool. :shrug:

 
I'd agree. Especially at what's generally a shallow position -- Howard is extremely productive statistically. I wouldn't want him on my team IRL, but in this game he's great.

Id have taken him 3. That's who I wanted to trade up for. He's going to be a monster on both ends of the court.
